Experiencias en Impulse Travel - Deléitate con los sabores y colores de las frutas, flores y hierbas exóticas de Colombia con agricultores y comerciantes en Paloquemao, el mercado más tradicional del país, donde probarás alrededor de 20 tipos de frutas, así como panes y bollería.

Un guía experto que ha trabajado con el mercado desde 2015, lo conectará con agricultores y comerciantes para que pueda conocer sus negocios familiares y proyectos comunitarios como "Regreso a la plaza" y "Hola mi amigo". Como sugerencia, no tomes ningún desayuno o al menos uno pequeño, porque el recorrido comienza probando diferentes tipos de pan y bollería que preparan los lugareños. Recorre los puestos de flores, plantas y artesanías y aprende sobre los usos medicinales, gastronómicos y esotéricos de las hierbas y especias. Prueba alrededor de 20 frutas exóticas de diferentes regiones del país, conoce la historia, el presente y el futuro de Colombia desde la perspectiva de los comerciantes. Conozca la importancia de limpiar, secar y almacenar las semillas de la fruta, así como obtener algunos consejos para comer más sano, orgánico y diverso. Finalmente, brindará por Colombia, la reserva mundial de frutas, con una degustación exclusiva de refrescantes jugos y extractos de frutas.

I highly recommend this tour. Of all the travel experiences I’ve had this one was so unique and lovely that I will tell everyone I know about it. We have 4 kids, 12, 10, 8, and 6. It is hard to keep them engaged and involved. We did not have this problem on the fruit tour. Both our guides were incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and intuitive with kids. From start to finish I watched my sometimes picky kids explore the market, marvel at the variety. Then when it came time for the main course it was incredible to watch them try everything on the plate. They absolutely loved it. 10 out of ten, A+++
Excellent and educational, but most importantly YUMMY! fruit market tour. We started with the flower market and then proceeded to local pastries and a beverage to prepare your stomach for all types of fruit. Sara , our guide, enthusiastically walked us through the market with plenty of skill and information. She is a delight to be with ad brimming with knowledge. The fruit tasting part was really fun and entertaining. The market itself is a feast for the eyes. Dont hesitate to do this!

It is hard to capture how impactful, fun and informative this trip was. I was soooo looking forward to it and i was not disappointed. I took this trip with my teens and it was super for all of us. Our guide Mar Jo was so passionate and full of great energy… we all instantly loved her. Our trip around the market with various samplings was such an adventure! We sat down with a tray of gorgeous fruit and learned about them as we sampled. She left us with such a lovely adage that we are still conscious of as we arrived home- Our world can only be as diverse as the food on our plate. Love love love

Maria is delightful :) She is very outgoing and such a joy to spend the day with. Her knowledge about the history of her country, the origins of the market, and the fruits in particular is amazing. She guides you through many diverse fruits - names, uses, etc and each one is worth trying. She is a top-notch guide with an infectious personality! We will be using her again for local cuisine recommendations as well as cooking classes. When our family and friends come to visit, Maria will be our "go to" for this tour, which is a must do when visiting Bogota.
The tour not only highlighted the countless fruits in Colombia, but it also touched on the economic, environmental and social benefits of supporting local farmers. The tour guides were very passionate about the people and process behind the produce. We even met and spoke English with some vendors who were taking English classes provided by the tour company. I highly recommend coming hungry for this tour! If you are still hungry after the tour you can easily get tacos, lechona or soup from surrounding restaurants vendors.
