En este recorrido completo por la isla en un cómodo minibús con aire acondicionado con nuestro guía local autorizado de habla inglesa, verá lo mejor de la isla de Rodas desde la perspectiva local. Comenzaremos con Filerimos, que además de la vista panorámica del mar Egeo, es un importante sitio arqueológico. El Valle de las Mariposas tampoco se lo puede perder. Luego nos dirigiremos a Seven Springs, un pequeño paraíso secreto, con muchos pinos y un increíble flujo de agua cristalina. Siguiente - ¡Lindos! Una vez allí, tendrá aproximadamente 1 hora de tiempo libre para explorar la antigua Acrópolis y pasear por el laberinto de callejones sinuosos. Por último, pero no menos importante, el casco antiguo de Rodas con sus edificios medievales, iglesias imponentes y tabernas tradicionales. Tendrá ~ 1 hora de tiempo libre para dar un paseo admirando los principales puntos destacados de la Ciudad Vieja: el Barrio Judío, la Plaza de Ippokratous, la famosa Calle de los Caballeros, el Palacio del Gran Maestre, el Museo Arqueológico y las Fortificaciones del Palacio.

Comenzaremos con Filerimos, que además de la vista panorámica del mar Egeo, es un importante sitio arqueológico. Aquí estuvo una vez la Acrópolis de la Antigua Ialyssos con un importante templo dedicado a Athena Polias. La colina tomó su nombre de un monje que vino de Jerusalén en el siglo XIII trayendo consigo un icono de la Santísima Virgen pintado por el Apóstol Lucas. Tome un poco de pan de su mesa de desayuno, los pavos reales que viven allí estarán felices de recibir un regalo a cambio de las fotos. La entrada es gratuita, excepto si quieres ir al museo, que es opcional, tendrás que pagar la entrada.
El Valle de las Mariposas no se puede perder también. Todos los años, al final de la estación húmeda (fines de mayo), miles de mariposas atraídas por el aroma de los árboles orientales de goma dulce cubren todo el paisaje. Es una experiencia única y definitivamente debes tratar de verla. Nos detendremos en una parte del parque, donde la entrada es gratuita, y luego, si desea profundizar en el valle (que es opcional), debe pagar la tarifa de admisión.

Very good tour, 10 - 5. The 'small group' was the two of us plus a new driver learning the route! Iannis (sp?) was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and squeezed in an extra stop so we could buy olive oil. Lindos is beautiful. Be aware some of the visits needed good mobility.
Booked and paid 2 months in advance. Received confirmation shortly thereafter. Fast forward to less than 1 day before the tour, and the provider cancels the tour and offers another in its place. I scrambled to find last minute replacement and had to request refund to get my money back. I normally don't leave reviews like this but I find this practice unethical and despicable. It is one thing to tell a customer that a tour may not run. It is another to hold their money, strong arm them into something else, then require a customer to intitiate a cancelation. Good luck.
For a 7hr tour there wasn’t any amount of time at all at the locations we visited. 1st stop was a view point and there was a museum. Admission required at the museum but with only 30 min given only had time to walk around the view point. 2nd Stopped at a butterfly conservation for 40 min, had to pay admission and only had time to go halfway in as we had to turn around and head back to bus as not enough time and go to next stop town of Lindos. Once at Lindos given 1hr 15 min. In that amount of time how can you walk around a bit and fit in lunch. Took say 5-10 min to get into tourist area of town and now sit down for lunch 30 min if you got served fast and ate fast that leaves you only 20 min to walk around and then 10 min back to bus. We just grabbed a gyro on the go and still was rushed as there was a lineup for that. Basically saw motion town of Lindos. Back on bus for almost 2hrs back to Old Town where you got dropped off. Amount paid for 7hr day you spent most of the time on the Bus, little time at stops and on top of that pay at each stop to see things or have no time to see things. Not worth the money. Better off just spending the day at Old Town on your own as there lots to see and do there. Best part was our bus driver as he was organized and we had great conversations while on bus. He was a real pleasure. Stellios was his name I believe

Great tour, i happened to be the only one so the very nice driver/tour guide gave me full freedom to choose where to go and how long to stay in each place. Really nice company to talk to also on the drive to each place! Highly recommend, all places visited are absolutely beautiful and worth a visit!

My experience on this tour was great. I was a bit limited to how much walking I was able to do due to a fall. However, the staff from Half Price Tours including Stelio our driver was very friendly, understanding and accommodating to my situation. Would recommend this tour but be aware there is a lot of walking.

Good day out. Driver, Aldo, was very helpful and accommodating. Butterfly Valley is a real nature heaven. But. Just a heads up if anybody goes in May, you won't see any butterflies as it's not their season yet. Still well worth it just for the nature. Lindos and Acropolis are surely a good visit. The entrance to the Acropolis s €20. A bit steep but still worth it.
I made a booking and Agne contacted me to advise of another booking due to go out and to see my preference. End of season trips and demand wasn’t as high but the trip still ran for 2 participants. I enjoyed the craic from Vitalie and he was a very pleasant and friendly driver, very informative. We agreed on changing times at locations due to the small size to adjust to spend longer in Lindos and stopped at other places to tell us information he felt important to Rhodes and Lindos. Brilliant day out and perfect communication from Agne from booking and reminder messages about transport the evening before etc
