Not recommended! Very expensive - bus stops / pick-up points are not clearly marked at all & does not always stop or drive very quickly again. The audioguide did not work at 3/4th of the bus either, you better take a Grab on the spot to drive from point to point: cheaper, faster, clearer and more efficient
We’re truly sorry your journey was delayed. Bangkok traffic can be very unpredictable, and we understand how frustrating it is when plans are affected. We depart from the first stop on time as per the timetable and monitor road conditions along the route to keep things moving safely, and we try to keep departure times as in the timetable. Thank you for your feedback. It helps us serve future guests better, and we hope to welcome you back for a smoother, friendlier hop-on hop-off experience in Bangkok.
The traffic in Bangkok in it self makes trips like this poor experience. In addition there could, and should, have been so much more info given when we drive around and are stuck in traffic!! The lack of information about Bangkok and its history makes those trip a big disappointment….

Currently they are offering a promotion of ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Day Free’ which essentially THB800 for two days’ worth of sightseeing. I guess this could have tilted the ratings a little more in their favour, however, we only had one day so this was not taken up at all. The offer was THB800 per pax for unlimited hop-ons to their double-decker bus, which stops at 16 different sites around metropolitan Bangkok. That works out to approximately THB5 per site which sounds very reasonable; however, there are only a very limited number of buses available, so once you’ve gotten off at a site (say #2), you have to wait roughly 40-45 minutes for the next ride. Altogether I think there was around 6-8 trips per day, so it’s impossible to see all the sites (notwithstanding the second day mentioned in first paragraph). If you have a lot of time to kill and not much to do, I guess this is an okay offer. However, if you — like us — didn’t take the first or second bus trip out, chances are the THB800 will be much better spent on the BTS or a taxi. Several times over.
We apologize if you had an unpleasant experience. However, we thank you for choosing our services for your trip to Bangkok. We will strive to improve our services in the future. Thank you.
When you come to Thailand and you want tour around Bangkok. don’t worry about rant a car. You use Elephant Bus all day because you can drop off any famous place in Bangkok such at China Town , Wat Arun , Icon Siam , Samyan Mitrtown. You can hap on - hop off all day 16 stops. it’s good experience in Bangkok 🥰👍🏻
Nice experiences, worth it! I visited China Town, and Phra nakorn to watch Khon. Love it
I recently tried the Elephant Bus Tour, which takes you to 16 key landmarks across Bangkok. It offered a unique perspective of the city, accompanied by stories about each location along the route. The atmosphere was delightful, making it feel like getting to know Bangkok even better. It’s a great choice for both tourists and Bangkok locals looking for a change of pace and a chance to see the city from a new angle—highly recommended!
I used this service on last Saturday. The crowd on the bus isn’t too much so the seats is enough all the time when hop the bus. Although, it has some traffic jam in early but after China Town it’s okay. You can have your time at the spot and hop on the bus whatever time you want. It was very fun 🤩
A fun and unforgettable experience! We toured around Bangkok, went off-plan a few times, discovered new places, and enjoyed every moment. Everything happened in just one bus ride!
This tour was amazing and definitely worth it! We got to visit many places in just one day. The schedule was well-organized, the bus left on time, and the trip was very comfortable. The guide and transportation made everything convenient, and we were able to see all the important attractions. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore many highlights in a short time!
You can only hop on at stop 1. If you get off the bus to visit any places of interest, the next bus doesn’t come
Thank you for your patience, and we’re sorry for the longer wait. We aim for regular intervals between buses, but congestion and road works can sometimes widen the gaps. To help while you wait, our real-time bus tracking is available on our website under the “Route Map” page, so you can see a clear estimated arrival time. We’re also working to tighten intervals wherever possible. Thank you for your feedback. It helps us serve future guests better, and we hope to welcome you back for a smoother, friendlier hop-on hop-off experience in Bangkok.
