The driver was excellent, showed up early was very informative about the stops and the area. Would highly recommend Kyrstian
Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and London central. Great drive, great vehicle and on time. Driver superb. Highly recommended.
We needed more time to see the areas of Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral. We were very rushed and did not get to adequately see these lovely places.
Thank you for your review, this service includes two hours and 30 minutes of viewing time for both locations if you required additional time this is possible this information is available on your booking voucher. I apologise if you felt that the driver was sticking to the itinerary but if you did communicate this to the driver on the day he would make the adjustments.
The driver was pleasant enough but his English was just fair and he spoke too quietly for us to hear in a noisy van. The van was worn and not especially comfortable. The tour was basic and driver did not describe the area or sights very well or in much detail. Felt like it was a glorified taxi trip. The cost for what we received was high and we expected more for our money.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review on your service, the driver that we allocated for this service is one of our best drivers the feedback that we have received for this Driver in the past has been outstanding I am shocked by your feedback. It seems like you did not know what you were buying when you purchased this service as it's clearly stated on the product details that this is a self-guided service with a private round-trip transportation we do not include a driver guide. Again the vehicle that we allocated is a brand-new Mercedes van.
During one of our one day stops from the cruise ship in Southampton we decided to this excursion to Salisbury and Stonehedge. All I can say is WOW! The transport (and we were on a bus) was very comfortable. The visits to Stonehedge (by goodness it was cold and windy on the day) was quite interesting particularly the museum. However the history at Salisbury Cathedral where you can see the Magna Carta is beyond amazing - so much history. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and made the trip even more of a learning experience. The staff at Salisbury cathedral were very eager to help and answer any question. If your on a cruise out of Southampton don't miss doing this - an outstanding full day. Would do it again in a heart beat.
We took the MSC shore excursion to Salisbury and Stonehenge, and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Stonehenge is a remarkable site and we're grateful to have seen it up close. Salisbury is such a beautiful town, quaint yet lively at the same time. Seeing their magnificent Cathedral was a highlight. We'd love to spend a week, at least, in Salisbury to really immerse ourselves in its ambience. Our tour guide was very helpful, and entertaining as he informed us of the area's history, in several languages., Very impressive!
