Esta mañana conduzca más al norte hasta la frontera entre Preah Vihear y Siem Reap. Luego nos adentraremos en el monte hasta la remota capital de Angkor, Koh Ker, un sitio angkoriano en el norte de Camboya, a 70 millas al noreste de Siem Reap; Fue brevemente la capital del imperio jemer entre 928 y 944 bajo el rey Jayavarman IV y su hijo Hasavarman II. Después de que el imperio jemer se estableciera en el área de Angkor (Roluos), Jayavarman IV trasladó la capital en 928 a Koh Ker. Aquí se construyó un gran número de templos bajo su reinado, hasta que su sucesor regresó a la zona de Angkor unos veinte años después. El sitio de Koh Ker está dominado por Prasat Thom, un templo-montaña de 30 metros de altura que se eleva por encima de la llanura y el bosque circundante.
Nuestro guía especializado te acompañará por toda esta capital. En el camino visitaremos el templo más en ruinas llamado Beng Mealea, que es súper famoso por la película (Dos hermanos) del cine francés.

Pierre is an extremely pleasant guide, he explains very well the sites and their history as well as the local daily life. Always very punctual and smiling, we really liked his my professionalism and his proposals to adapt our circuit to our desires and the heat. On Driver Michel was also very pro. We had Pierre four days with visits to the main sites around Siem Riep, a market visit and cooking classes. Thank you Pierre for everything you explained about your beautiful country, its inhabitants and their history.

A wonder!!!! Stolen from the jungle that for centuries has hidden the grandeur of this site. I visited 12 temples from the largest and most iconic to as many fascinating for their history. It is a tiring visit definitely and if the temperature is the humidity are high the pleasure of discovery must be earned
