When we arrived we were a little confused as there was no clear signs and the first few people we spoke to weren’t sure what we were on about - but eventually we did find the person that was organising it. We were told that we could paint two small ceramics or one big one (there was plenty to choose from). We sat at the table and were left alone (which we liked) and someone came and checked up on us every hour. However the listing said that there were complimentary snacks and drinks which unfortunately wasn’t true and we had to pay €6 for two small glasses of drink. Overall, the painting experience was pleasant, we put on some music and had a fun time painting.
What announced itself as a great day / activity was such a disappointment. Upon arriving, we got walked to the workshop area: a small table with limited amounts of cheap paint choices and old brushes. Most importantly: we were just left there, on our own, with no supervision, instructions or guidance... no actual workshop! For cheaper, we could have bought some white ceramic, some paint and brushes and done exactly the same thing at home. I have been to many manual activity workshops, and this was by far the worst. The only interaction we had with our "tutor" was her announcing that tea and snacks were NOT included, even though on the Viator add it clearly mentions they are. (One worker there, not part of our "workshop" did come talk to us see if we were doing ok, he was a highlight - I believe he was Scottish?) Overall, please avoid, I really do not recommend (and I am quite a positive, optimistic person but really this was just terrible and not at all worth the money or time). With the huge tourist filled buses in the courtyard, it became clear that this was mainly a big capitalist venture rather than a nice local / traditional farm to spend an cozy afternoon in.
Art Therapy in a lovely family farm. The hosts are so kind. Such sweet spirits and just allowed us to be creative. We had a free tour of the cheese and clogs, actually a personal and private tour by Roan, the son. Again a family business and they show so much pride. Try the smoked cheese!!!
