I had a wonderful experience at this calligraphy school in Tokyo. It was truly special, above all thanks to Kiyo, whose clear explanations and incredible patience made it easy and enjoyable to understand the art of Japanese calligraphy. Learning about the history, techniques, and meaning behind each brushstroke was both fascinating and relaxing. Kiyo’s passion for this traditional art really shines through and makes the entire experience even more meaningful. We had a great experience with calligraphy, together with our excellent instructor Kiyo. She was both very knowledgeable and motivational. She encouraged us when we tried to master the art ourselves, especially when we kept failing. Both our teenages, aged 14 and 18, were also very happy with the experience.

I took this calligraphy class with my family and it was incredible!! Our instructor, Mei, was so supportive, patient, and clear in her teaching. It was very interesting to practice calligraphy, as well as learn about the history of it. It was such a calm experience that it was like meditating; so peaceful! I would totally recommend to everyone it was a 10/10
