Parada de 1 hora para visitar individualmente el impresionante monasterio de San Miguel Panormitis antes de viajar al pintoresco pueblo de Symi, donde tendremos otras 3,5 horas de tiempo libre para visitas turísticas, nadar, relajarse o visitar las tiendas y restaurantes. El crucero a la isla de Symi incluye traslado de ida y vuelta al hotel desde los complejos de Ialyssos, Ixia y Kallithea.

Vendremos a recogerlo de su alojamiento y lo llevaremos al barco FERRY. Sus tarjetas de check-in y embarque serán arregladas, y fuera de usted! Además, recibe una guía personalizada para llevar con información interesante, un mapa de la ciudad de Symi y las indicaciones. La salida es desde el histórico puerto de Mandraki, pasando por la vista del antiguo Coloso.
La primera parada es la pequeña bahía escénica, sede del Santo Monasterio del Arcángel Miguel de PANORMITIS. Al acercarse al Monasterio, escuchará las campanas de la Iglesia repicar, dando una cálida bienvenida a todos los peregrinos, exploradores, turistas y viajeros curiosos. El Santo Monasterio es un tesoro de la cultura greco-ortodoxa. La iglesia contemporánea fue construida en 1783 y alberga el milagroso icono de Arcángel Miguel, todo plateado. La principal característica arquitectónica del monasterio es su impresionante campanario, una mezcla de estilos barroco y renacentista. El monasterio también alberga dos museos con una gran colección de arte eclesiástico, iconos, ofertas de modelos de barcos y objetos importantes de la cultura popular de la isla. Admira las pinturas murales del siglo XVIII, enciende una vela para la buena suerte y camina para disfrutar del ambiente tranquilo de este lugar santo.
El barco pasará por la famosa bahía de St. George para que puedas hacer bonitas fotos de la pequeña iglesia al pie del imponente acantilado. Todos los SÁBADOS, parada para un baño rápido de 20 minutos (desde mediados de junio hasta finales de septiembre)
Al acercarse a Symi, se sorprenderá por su pintoresca orilla! Hermosas mansiones, auténticos barcos de pescadores, yates privados y veleros, docenas de restaurantes y tiendas populares y de arte, puestos con esponjas y tallas de madera! ¡Siente el ambiente auténtico, da un paseo casual por el puerto o toma el TREN DIVERTIDO para dar un gran paseo por Gialos, nada o disfruta de una buena comida en una de las muchas tabernas frente al mar! Es difícil absorber el ambiente y experimentar la cultura local en solo unas horas, pero la pequeña isla y su gente son tan generosos que, sin duda, Symi dejará una huella en la experiencia de su viajero.

The trip itself was lovely, organised and everything on time. Unfortunately I was incredibly sea sick the whole time so I couldn’t enjoy myself.

The whole experience was 10/10. The team was punctual and kind, and the day is arranged so that there’s plenty of time to enjoy both the monastery and Symi. What is more, both locations are worth every penny. We’ll definitely do it again!

Small tavern run by couple. Very tasty Greek dishes including the best moussaka ever eaten in Greece. The cuisine of Mary is top! Every night we ate deliciously with good Greek music and after the meal we got an ouzo on the house. If you want to be sure of a table, book in advance! Correct follow-up of the reservations by the friendly owner. Small prices for super tasty dishes and wine. Fabienne

This trip or service is exactly as it is described, an efficient method of reaching Symi both the monastery and town. The service ran to time, gave sufficient time at both stops to explore, the boat had both toilet facilities and a great bar for teas, coffees, beers etc. There were three levels of seating top level were all open to the elements, and lower floors had a mixture of cabins and open areas, the stairs up to higher level were steep and not suitable for this with mobility issues. If you wish to go to Symi island I would recommend this company, great service and very fair price.

Can’t fault the pick up and drop off from Ialysos. The minibus was comfortable and efficient. Symi was very very pretty; just be prepared that first and foremost it is a tourist destination. Everything you’re buying at Symi has a premium. 3 1/2 hours is also a funny length of time, realistically it’s 3 hours as if you’re getting on the ferry just before departing you’re not going to get a seat. There were things like the museum but it was up a steep hill and, after eating lunch, we didn’t feel like we had enough time. That meant we just sat with an ice cream and enjoyed the view which was nice, but it did drag a little. The swimming stop on Saturdays is also at a very weird spot and 20 minutes isn’t long enough. If you want to go to Symi, this is a great choice. Just be aware that once you’re there, it can be a little awkward!

Went an excursion with this company, from the moment we walked into the office, till the time we came back our trip, it was nothing but 1st class service all the way, when we were booking it the staff were friendly, polite. The bus arrived on time took us to the harbour to go on our ferry to Symi, guide was there to direct us to ferry, although this wasn't a guided tour, Symi is easy to get around, on arriving back at Rhodes, guide was there again to make sure we got on the correct buses, certainly a company I would use again and recommend .

Communication was poor. You are paying for the bus transit to the harbor and the boat. Other groups (with guides) are on the boat. We were not told anything about departure times from the monastery or Symi. All other passengers who didn’t use this tour were, so I’m thankful for them. From reading other reviews it didn’t seem like that was the case so it may have been an off day when I went. Symi is beautiful but hot and there is little shade. Would recommend bringing a bathing suit to cool off at the beach. I actually think the day could have been cut a little shorter since there wasn’t a swim stop (which was noted since I went on a weekday). Symi is beautiful, definitely recommend going! Having the opportunity to do this self guided was very appreciated as a solo traveler but there were definitely missing organizational points throughout the day that would have been appreciated.

To ensure clarity, departure times are announced both by the ship's crew and displayed on a large sign at the exit at each stop (Panormitis Monastery and Symi Town). This system is in place precisely to help all guests, including solo travelers, stay well-informed throughout the day. We’re sorry if you felt there were missing organizational elements, but rest assured that every effort is made to maintain clear communication and structure.
