Our tour guide Katiana was wonderful. Very engaging and informative about Lucerne. We went to see some of the highlights of the town. I gave 4 stars because I told Viator I was dairy free , yet we went to two chocolate shops that had nothing for me to try. The chocolate that I try was delicious!

Regarding your dairy-free requirement, we did inform the guide in advance, but unfortunately, not all of the chocolate shops we visit offer dairy-free or vegan options in Switzerland. This is also why the tour includes visits to four different chocolate shops, giving our guests more opportunities to find chocolates that suit their dietary requirements. Kateryna was great. She was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun. We stopped at 4 different shops for chocolate. A great way to learn some local history and sample some of the best chocolate in Switzerland.

Very disappointing. 7 chocolate pieces from 3 shops for over $100. Very little education about the chocolatiers or what makes Swiss chocolate special. The walking tour also provided very limited information about the history of Lucern, tho did spotlight some historical buildings and notable artwork. Would not recommend. You would learn more on a self guided tour. Definitely not worth the cost. No criticism of the guide herself. She was pleasant and friendly. The tour itself needs to be more thoughtfully designed.

Our family of five had a fun time seeing highlights of Lucerne and tasting chocolates from a variety of shops along the way. It was the perfect balance of food, sightseeing, and information. Our guide was friendly and informative, and all of the chocolate delicious!

Katarina was terrific, although not native to Lucerne, we found her very knowledgeable about the city and country. She also took us to three of Lucerne’s chocolatiers, scrumptious!, Our two hours with her were a delight, we found ourselves wanting more. So would enthusiastically recommend her walking tour of Lucerne!
