It was a lovely tour. The tour guide knew a lot, but..... We weren't given time to sit down and enjoy our chocolates it was really hot day and we could have used some time to sit down while guide talk to us.
Naturally a city tour involves walking, as walking is an essential part of exploring Basel. We don't advertise any breaks .. and the chocolates can be enjoyed while walking through the city. We are hapy that you found the tour lovely and the guide knowledgeable, so in summary the 3/5 rating does not reflect the experience provided.
Such a fun way to experience Basel! I loved walking through the city while learning about its history and, of course, tasting delicious Swiss chocolate along the way. The tour was interesting, relaxed, and a perfect way to spend a beautiful afternoon in Switzerland. 🇨🇭🍫

Fantastic tour! Even our 16 & 18 year olds enjoyed! Julianna was knowledgeable & offered many interesting historical facts. She was cautious with our nut allergy. The chocolate was spectacularly special. Bachman & Brandli… Be forewarned most things are closed on Sunday, but we enjoyed the quiet and almost empty streets.
