Our 2-hour group lesson is perfect for those who want to try surf for the first time, as well as for those who want to improve their technique. It is not necessary to know how to swim since chest height as deepest,you will be accompanied and guided by trained instructors. Come with your family or friends!! kids less 10 yo and seniors over 50 yo,will need to book a private class to take care of every detail and ensure the best experience in terms of results and safety. In our class, you will learn the basic concepts of surfing and safety, reading the water , waves and currents, training the technique on land, and then you will go into the water. we recommend that it be one of the first activities you do, as surfing requires energy, enthusiasm, and a rested body to enjoy it to the fullest! After the lesson , Just relax in our beach chairs and umbrellas! Start your adventure with the waves and feel the Pura Vida from the beginning!!☀️

Information about client pickup: - The pickup service is optional and must be coordinated directly with the school once the reservation is made. - Generally, pickups are made approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled class time. - We offer free pickups within the town of Jacó for those who need it, even if it is just one student. For pickups in Playa Hermosa or Playa Herradura, a minimum of 2 students is required. It is important to keep in mind that class schedules adjust to the tides, as the best surfing conditions in Playa Jacó usually occur between medium to high tides and high to medium tides, allowing for the best enjoyment of the waves and a better experience in the water. We are committed to providing a comfortable, safe, and personalized experience from the very beginning. Feel free to contact us to coordinate your transport or to resolve any questions. Really fun experience, instructors were really nice and it’s a lot of value for your money
My son and I had our first surf lessons with Josh and his crew and they were fantastic. They're at the perfect spot in Jaco Beach and they were a lot of fun. We were really happy with the few hours of surfing we got in with them. We also had a beer with him after!!!!
The experience was so fun from start to finish ! Our beginner surfers learned a ton and had fun in the process. ! Josh was great and the beach was beautiful ! Highly recommend!

Amazing! Beach was beautiful (but sand is black and although its clean..tough to get off) My kids loved this activity.

Someone recommended him to me. I was glad to have him as my first surf teacher! He (Joshua; the owner) explains the basics (safety, precautions, how to stand on the surf board) very nicely and helps you understand it very well. It was nice to have this before actually going in the water with the surf instructor. I enjoyed it, everyone is very caring and I feel like they actually enjoy their job and what they are doing. Thank you for helping me with my nerves and first few waves!

I've been coming back to Jaco to surf and this surf school is absolutely the reason why. Joshua and all the others (Orange, Brandon, Thomas, Dennis) are the absolute best and will go out of their way to give you the best experience possible. Their prices are fair and they are very knowledgeable, both in giving beginner lessons as well as giving tips for more intermediate surfers.
