We were really excited for this experience, but unfortunately it turned out to be a huge disappointment. We confirmed our hotel details ahead of time, and the instructions clearly stated that pickup would be at 6:00 AM. It’s now almost 7:00 AM, and no one has shown up. To make matters worse, there is no direct contact number to reach anyone for help or updates, which is extremely frustrating when you’re left waiting this long with no communication. This completely disrupted our plans, and we’re very disappointed with how unorganized and unreliable this experience has been. I would strongly recommend not booking this unless you have a backup plan in place. We will be expecting a FULL refund.

We were promptly picked up by Abraham who had a quick breakfast for us! Long drive to pier. Pier had clean restrooms, showers, & changing rooms available. Arrived at pier and met Minor, Kevin, and boat captain. Boat was absolutely amazing, clean, & fun! Drinks & yummy fruit instantly provided. Minor was knowledgeable of the area and history of Costa Rica. Snorkeling was around a rock with lots of different fish to see. Lunch was the BEST fish we had in CR hands down!! My kids had a blast on the boat slide and jumping off the top of the boat. After the boat ride, Abraham provided a guided tour of Manuel Antonio National Park where we saw 3 species of monkeys, 3 sloths (momma & a baby), “Jesus Christ” lizards, crabs, birds, capybara, and “quo—te” (anteater looking animal). The beach was fabulous. The “soda” shop ice cream was refreshing. Abraham took us a route back to our hotel to see the sunset which was absolutely stunning. Definitely would recommend this activity, but be prepared for a long day as traffic can be unpredictable in CR.

This combo is worth it. My daughter and I really liked the catamaran ride. We were lucky to spot a whale. Already in the park Manuel Antônio, despite the efforts of our guide, we could not see many animals (only a bitch, a crab and an iguana) was very hot and I believe the animals were looking for shelter. The beach was so beautiful it looked like a movie scene. The only problem with this tour (as in many in Costa Rica) is the time you will lose on the road. Seven hours to go and go from SanJase is exhausting. So don't forget that your day will be looooongo. 😉

Minor and his crew on the catamaran trip were awesome. Food n drinks were tasty. Wish i could’ve seen a bit more marine life but can’t control nature. Our tour guide/driver was atrocious and should be fired. He was not there for any of the guests on the trip. Poor attitude and should be not be in his job.

Our driver Jairo was a terrible host. First he picked us up at 5 am, but couldn’t be bothered to pull into our hotel, he waited on the busy street with doors to load in traffic. The “light breakfast” was a banana and a gas station sandwich. We rode in silence for 3 hours to the catamaran dock. Not once did he point out any interesting landmarks or give us any interesting facts about his country. When we arrived at the catamaran his instructions were terrible and told us we couldn’t bring our bags, we had to leave them in the van. However others had their bags. Sunset tours was amazing! We had the greatest experience when Jairo wasn’t there. Next we went to Manuel Antonio park, it only got worse here. First he asked who just wanted to go to the beach instead of a guided tour. We all opted for the guided tour which was very lacking. He quickly walked us through the trail stopping maybe 3 times for no more than 3 minutes because he was in a hurry to dump us at the beach. He brought a telescope, but I’m not sure if he knew how to use it because he never set it up once to show us anything. If it wasn’t visible with the naked eye Jairo was not interested. He was very rushed, even though we still had 2 1/2 hours at the park he dumped us at the beach and told us how to get back to the parking lot. On the drive back 4 more hours of silence. When my husband asked if he could put music on the answer was no. When being dropped off at our hotel (Gran hotel downtown) again he couldn’t be bothered to pull into the hotel and instead let us out into busy traffic after dark. No concern for our safety. I absolutely believe he should not be in the tourism industry as he was a terrible host/ guide. In all honesty I think they didn’t have a guide and just gave us a bus driver. Definitely not worth the money paid for this trip.

The light breakfast provided is carefully selected for early morning departures and includes sandwiches, fresh fruit, cookies, juices, water, and energy bars. While many guests find it appropriate for this type of tour, we understand that expectations may differ. Regarding hotel pick up and drop off, due to city traffic conditions, limited access, or space restrictions, it is not always possible for our vehicles to enter every hotel driveway. This is never done to compromise safety, and we are sorry if this situation made you feel uncomfortable. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve our services and guest experience. I bought this tour before arriving in Costa Rica and it went perfectly well. This company is very serious and committed to the customer. Their vehicle is great, our guide Lenny is a very special person, nice, friendly, who teaches us a lot about the culture of the place, in addition to being always willing to exchange information, take photos, a good person with life makes everything better, in addition to being an excellent driver. You can see that she enjoys what she does. It was one of the best days of our trip. On the tour, we saw many animals: lazy animals, dolphins, crocodiles, monkeys, we snorkeled, the catamaran tour is a delight. It's an unforgettable walk. Even more if your time in Costa Rica is short. Indicate too much!!

We enjoyed very much this day trip. Our amaizing guide, Lenny was very friendly, knowledgeable, pointed to us wildlife such as gourgeus toucans and made sure we were comfortable at all times during the trip. The catamaran cruise was great, we enjoyed snorkeling and seeing the beautiful fish. We stopped for a swim Manuel Antonio Beach. There, we also had the privilege to meet a group of adorable capuchin monkeys, which for me were probably the highlight of the day!! Last but not least, we enjoyed very much the beautiful trails, suspended bridges and got to swim in the water holes on the river in the Rainmaker Nature Preserve. This was offered to us as an alternative to Manuel Antonio National Park, which had no more tickets available for the date we selected. Overall we had a wonderful experience!

We had the best tour and Lenny was an incredible guide! She made the whole trip perfect, even with the rain. The bus ride is a bit of a trek but it was very nice to see the countryside and different towns on the way. The boat ride was very fun and lunch was amazing! Our favorite part was getting to spot the monkeys in the park! Lenny went above and beyond for us and we are so thankful! You won’t regret this tour!
