My friend and I were welcomed as friends into Mohammad’s home. It was so much more than a cooking class - we enjoyed asking questions about life in Aqaba and Jordanian culture. I’ve since made baba ganoush at home and it was delicious - so his wife’s teaching was a success! Mohammad went above and beyond to pick us up from our hotel and take us by a market on the way back to the hotel, as it was our last night in Aqaba and we wanted to do a little more souvenir shopping. We highly recommend this class!
Friendly people and good food, but way too expensive for this ‘experience’. We only prepared a soup, a main dish and a dip. I hoped to learn a lot more for this price. Didn’t go to the market as said.
Thank you Carole for your review .since you were the only guests so we tried our best to make main dish ,soup and salad .we would like to grab your attention is 50% of price is for TripAdvisor fees and food price.
Wonderful and kind family who welcomed us into their lovely home with open arms. Great food and insights into Jordanien way of life. An unforgettable experience.
We spent a marvelous night with Mohammed and his family. We were very welcome and felt honored to share with his family. We not only learned to cook Jordanian delicious dishes, but also from his culture. We are very thankful for the wonderful night and encourage every person who is interested in Jordanian Culinary Recepies to join Mohammed`s family cook course!
Best experience ever! We not only learn about cooking tradition, we discussed culture, Jordan life. We learn about religions and Jordanian people. The host opened his house to our family. Our kids had the opportunity to interact with a Jordanian family and ask 1000 questions. This is a MUST if you are in Aqaba! You will not regret. And after a great dinner we left with some delicious homemade cookies! Thank you Mohamed for letting us in you house!!!!
It was a pleasure cooking together mit Mohammed and his wife. They welcomed us warmly and showed us some vegetarian dishes. Mohammed picked us up from the hotel and on the way we just bought some fresh bread. I can highly recommend the course highlighting Jordan homestyle cooking. Thank you! :)
We had a very nice evening with Mohammed and his family and learnt a lot about Jordanian culture. Muhammed is very friendly and patient and showed us step by step how to prepare Maklouba, Mutabal and Arab salad. Afterwards we are a delicious meal and were provided with pictures and a recipe book.
Mohammed and his family are very kind and we felt welcome at their home. The cooking class was very interesting and we learned some additional information about the food and traditions of Jordan. The cooking class is highly recommended!
It was a private and very good moment. We cooked a traditional Jordan meal and it was delicious. Thank you for the surprise and the song for my birthday 😊.
The welcome by Mohammed and his family was cordial. The cooking class was already well prepared and Mohammed took care of the translation. His wife does not speak English but that will certainly be worked on. It was special to have a look in one Jordanian family and we learned to make delicious dishes. Highly recommended
