Great stuff. Interesting food, presented in a knowledgeable way and a bit of local history thrown in.

Thank you so much! We have to smile at your title: “Now we have to go back to Turin.” If this experience gave you one more reason to return, then we’ve done our job! :) Food has a wonderful way of telling the story of a city. The good news? We only scratched the surface. Turin still has plenty of delicious secrets waiting for you. Until next time…we’ll be ready with a few new stories… and, of course, something tasty!

The best food tour ever!!

We loved our tour with chef Abram! The best experience we had in Torino. He took us to great places , we’ve tried amazing foods. He took us all over town and he showed us places and told us stories! Thank you for memorable experience and we hope to see him again!

Respuesta del operador

Thank you so much for this wonderful review! What I love most is that you didn’t just remember just the food: you remembered the places and the stories. To me, that’s what Turin truly is: a city best understood one bite, one conversation, and one hidden corner at a time. As a chef, I could simply introduce local specialties. But my real goal is to help guests discover why they exist, how they became part of the city’s identity, and why the people of Turin are so proud of them. When those stories stay with you, I know we’ve shared something much bigger than a food tour. It was a genuine pleasure spending the day together, and I’m honored that it became your favorite experience in Turin. The city is always evolving, and there will always be another table, another glass, and another story waiting for your return. Until then, thank you for letting me share my Turin with you. Cheers, Chef Abram

Best Foodie Experience Ever!

Food tour with a delightful, engaging, passionate chef! Taught us so much about the local Piemonte specialties and we ate so many different varieties of food and drink. Well connected to the city. Easy walking. Fun facts. Best food tour we have ever taken.

Respuesta del operador

Thank you for such a thoughtful review! What makes us especially happy is that you didn’t only mention the food, you mentioned the connection. The connection between the dishes, the people behind them, and the city itself. Turin is often overlooked by travelers rushing between Italy’s more famous destinations, yet it is one of the country’s richest culinary capitals. Our goal has never been simply to feed our guests, but to help them experience Turin through the eyes of someone who has lived, cooked, and built relationships here for many years. Food tastes different when you know where it comes from, who made it, and why locals love it. Those are the details we try to share during every experience. Being called the “best food tour we’ve ever taken” is a compliment we don’t take lightly, especially knowing how many culinary experiences are available around the world today. Thank you for spending part of your journey with me, for your curiosity, and for allowing us to introduce you to the flavors, stories, and hidden corners that make Turin such a special place to eat. Until next time…there will always be another table waiting for you in Torino. Chef Abram

If you enjoy food, don’t miss this tour

Abram was an excellent guide. It’s clear he loves what he does. He was both passionate and knowledgeable. You could tell he had great relationships with the food establishments he took us to. We ate and drank a broad range of delicious foods and drinks while learning the history of Turin. He was very accommodating to the dietary needs/restrictions that one of us had (vegetarian).

Respuesta del operador

Thank you, Natalie, for such a beautiful review. What I appreciate most is that you noticed something that often happens behind the scenes: the relationships. The food is, of course, the reason we meet, but the real magic comes from the people who make it. Many of the artisans, chefs, bakers, wine specialists, and family-run businesses we visit are people I’ve known professionally or personally for years. Those relationships allow us to open doors, share stories, and experience Turin’s food culture in a way that goes far beyond simply tasting what’s on the plate. I’m also delighted that the vegetarian options were appreciated. One of the great misconceptions about Piedmont is that it is only a destination for meat lovers. In reality, many of the region’s most beloved traditions celebrate vegetables, cheeses, breads and seasonal ingredients. Finding the right balance so everyone can enjoy the experience is an important part of what we do. Thank you for spending your time with us, for your curiosity, and for embracing Turin one bite at a time. Reviews like yours remind us that the best culinary experiences are not just about food: they’re about connection, hospitality, and discovering a city through the people who call it home. I hope Turin will welcome you back one day. Cheers, Abram

Exceptional !

We knew it would be wonderful from the reviews we read but it truly exceeded our expectations. Chef Abram was born to do this ! He is passionate, energetic, informative and entertaining as we drank and ate our way through Turin. The variety and quality of everything we consumed was truly fantastic. A big highlight of our trip for sure.

Respuesta del operador

Thank you so, so much, Karen, for your wonderful words! What makes your review especially meaningful is that you arrived with high expectations after reading other guests’ experiences and somehow Turin still managed to surprise you :) That is something I love about this city. Turin doesn’t reveal itself all at once. It is a place of hidden courtyards, historic cafés, family-run food businesses, royal traditions, and recipes that have been quietly perfected for generations. My goal is simply to help guests see what locals often take for granted and what many visitors would otherwise walk right past. Food is our excuse to explore, but the experience is really about discovering the character of Turin through its flavors, stories, and people. Thank you also for your kind words about my energy and passion. After many years as a chef, I still genuinely enjoy introducing guests to the city and the food culture that made me fall in love with Turin in the first place. Every group brings new conversations, new perspectives, and new memories. I’m delighted that the experience became one of the highlights of your trip. Those are the words every host hopes to hear. Thank you for joining me around the table, and whenever you find yourself back in Turin, there will always be another story, another glass, and another delicious discovery waiting for you. All my very best and with many cheers, Chef Abram

Amazing tour

Great experience. You get to experience eating the real Italian food hidden in off street alleys that you might not find on your own. Exploring the market was amazing experience. The produce was beautiful atmosphere lively. Included was some wine tasting and it was truly a relaxing tour and well done. I will always try food tours after this .

Respuesta del operador

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. One sentence especially made me smile: “I will always try food tours after this.” Because that tells me the experience was about much more than food. One of the biggest challenges when visiting a new city is knowing where locals actually eat. The restaurants on the main squares are easy to find. The small family-run businesses tucked away in side streets, hidden courtyards, historic markets, and neighborhood corners are often a different story. Those are the places I love sharing. Turin has one of the richest culinary traditions in Italy, but it is also a city that doesn’t show off. Many of its best food experiences are hidden in plain sight, waiting for curious travelers willing to step just a little off the beaten path. I’m delighted that you enjoyed the market as well. For me, markets are the heartbeat of a city. They tell the story of the seasons, the local producers, the daily rituals, and the ingredients that shape an entire region’s cuisine. There is no better place to understand Piedmont than among the colors, aromas, and conversations of a lively market. Thank you for spending part of your time in Turin with me. I’m thrilled that the experience left such a positive impression and hopefully inspired many more culinary adventures during your future travels. After all, some of the best memories of a destination are not the monuments we photograph, but the tables we gather around. Chef Abram

Learn the history of food in Torino.

Chef Abram provided the best food tour we have ever been on. His passion and knowledge about food was unmatched. He taught us so much about the history of food in Torino, how food is part of the culture on a daily basis and how they choose what to eat and in what order. Also, he introduced to Vermouth and the best way to drink it. This tour is amazing and you should do it.

Respuesta del operador

Thanks a million, Rob, for this great feedback. “How they choose what to eat and in what order.” That part of your review made me smile, Rob, because it captures something many visitors don’t expect to discover when they come to Turin. Italian food is often seen from the outside as a collection of famous dishes and recipes. But once you look a little deeper, you begin to see that food is also ritual, habit, history, and identity. Even the order in which dishes are served tells a story about the region, the season, and the way people have gathered around the table for generations. As a chef, those are the details that fascinate me most. Understanding what people eat is interesting. Understanding why they eat it is where the real story begins. I’m delighted that you enjoyed discovering Turin’s Vermouth culture as well. Long before cocktail bars became fashionable around the world, Turin was already shaping aperitivo traditions that continue to influence the way people socialize and enjoy food today. What makes experiences like this memorable for me is meeting curious travelers who genuinely want to understand a destination beyond the guidebooks. Food simply becomes the doorway into a much larger conversation about culture, history, and everyday life. Thank you for joining me around the table and for sharing such generous words. Being described as the best food tour you’ve experienced is a compliment I will treasure for a long time. Until our paths cross again, keep following your curiosity and your appetite. Don't visit Turin without including this tour!

My girlfriend and I took the 4 hour late morning/lunch tour with Abram and were lucky enough to have what was effectively a private tour. We both love food and culture tours but had no expectations because we were in Turin for an event and just wanted to fill some time. Easily one of the best tours we’ve ever done and we could not recommend both Abram, the food, the gelato, the wine, the vermouth and the delightful places and people that he introduces you to more whole heartedly. Delightful human being and a stunningly curated and planned tour. 5 stars +++

Wow, Simon! What a fantastic review to read. The fact that you joined simply to fill a few hours in Turin and left feeling it was one of the best food and cultural experiences you have ever done honestly means the world to me. One of the things I love most about these experiences is watching guests discover that Turin is so much more than a stop between famous Italian destinations. Hidden behind its elegant facades are generations of artisans, family-run businesses, historic cafés, vermouth traditions, incredible gelato makers, passionate winemakers, and stories that most visitors never get the chance to experience. Thank you for embracing the city with such curiosity and enthusiasm. It was a genuine pleasure sharing my favorite corners, flavors, and people with both of you. And thank you for mentioning the local businesses along the way. Genuinely supporting them is one of the reasons Cecilia and I created these culinary adventures in the first place. I hope the memories of the food, the wine, the vermouth, the gelato, and perhaps a few unexpected stories from Turin stay with you long after your visit. The city will be waiting whenever you decide to return. And so do I! Cheers to the next time, already and thanks again for everything. Abram

Fantastic tour!

My mum and I had a tour with Cecilia and we ended up with an accidental private tour. We had the best time with Cecilia! She really knows her food history, being a sociologist specialising in food, and was so friendly and open. We enjoyed everything on the tour and were surprised at how varied the foods were that we got to sample! The portions were great and we were definitely stuffed full by the end! Bonding over our Frenchies was a lovely bonus as well! Thanks so much Cecilia for a wonderful tour that was the best part of our visit to Torino!

Respuesta del operador

Oh, Sara! What a joy it was to read your review! Thank you so much for spending part of your time in Turin with me, and please give your sweet mum my warmest regards as well. One of the things I love most about these experiences is showing that food is never just food. Every recipe, ingredient, market stall, café, and family tradition tells a story about the people, history, and culture that shaped it. My background in sociology and food culture allows me to look at Turin through that lens, but my goal is never to make it feel like a lecture, rather, a delicious conversation that unfolds one bite at a time. I am so happy you enjoyed the variety of tastings. Turin’s culinary identity is wonderfully diverse, and I always hope guests leave having discovered flavors and stories they weren’t expecting. The fact that you were pleasantly surprised (and comfortably full by the end!lol) makes me smile. And of course, I cannot forget our shared love for Frenchies! Sometimes the most memorable parts of a day are the unexpected connections made along the way. Food has a wonderful way of bringing people together, but fellow French Bulldog enthusiasts tend to find each other rather quickly too! :)) Thank you again for your incredibly kind words. Knowing that the experience became the highlight of your visit to Turin is the greatest compliment I could receive. I hope Turin, its flavors, its stories, and perhaps a few thoughts about Frenchies stay with you for a long time to come.
