Pasee por bulliciosas calles y lugares locales ocultos mientras prueba una variedad de sabores auténticos, desde chispeantes anticuchos (brochetas a la parrilla) hasta churros criollos y tamal recién hechos. Dirigido por un apasionado de la gastronomía local, explorará el mercado más grande de Lima, conocerá a vendedores amigables y aprenderá el significado cultural de cada plato. A lo largo del camino, también podrá ver lugares emblemáticos como la Plaza Mayor, la Catedral de Lima, el Palacio de Gobierno y la Basílica de San Francisco. ¡Venga con hambre, salga lleno y lleve a casa una muestra de la increíble cultura gastronómica de Lima!

Comenzaremos este recorrido en la puerta principal del Gran Hotel Bolívar, frente a la Plaza San Martín, con algunas visitas turísticas, antes de ir a un bar local donde tomaremos tamal acompañado de emoliente y un trago de pisco.
Caminaremos por una de las calles comerciales más emblemáticas de Lima.

What a great little introduction to Lima and the Peruvian food culture. Sheyla, our tour guide, really gave a great history of where we were, where we were going and what we were eating. We booked the Exquisito Street Food, Market and Old Eateries Tour while visiting Lima, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We’ve done food tours all over the world, so our expectations were high, but Valeria absolutely delivered. All seven stops were excellent. Nothing felt repetitive or like filler, and every tasting added something new to our understanding of Peruvian cuisine. Beyond the food itself, Valeria provided fantastic historical and cultural context that made the experience feel much deeper than a typical tasting tour. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and storytelling brought each neighborhood, market, and restaurant to life. We loved the experience. Very good explanations from the guide Marcos, both the historical-cultural explanations and the gastronomic ones. The selection of dishes was very well chosen to get to know authentic Limean and Peruvian gastronomy. Tip: don't eat a big breakfast beforehand! Absolutely recommended.
