Price paid was worthy great experience Loved the neighborhood Anna was v interesting and considerate
It's always a little nerve-wracking to book a tour like this as you never know what the quality is going to be, but I can tell anyone reading this that there's no reason to be nervous. The staff was great , especially Elin J. who was our guide. She was knowledgeable and added great humor to her descriptions of what we were seeing. It was a great alternative to the boats that are either all outside or all inside. If you are lucky enough to get a spot at the rail, you feel like you're at a little bistro with chairs and a little table. The bathrooms were immaculate which is a rare situation on tour boats. Overall, a really pleasant experience and perfect way to get a taste of the archipelago.
We did the midday archipelago cruise and it was absolutely lovely! Elin (our guide) was very knowledgeable and funny. Was a wonderful way to see things that aren’t part of a typical city tour.
Our guide Hilda was especially excellent!
The boat tour was excellent. Amy, our guide, was very cheerful and knowledgeable. The tour had a good pace and mix of information and little fun facts. My only criticism was finding the starting point for the tour. We went to the status as directed and looked for staff in ‘blue t-shirts’ as directed. It was only when I asked staff in red t-shirts from a completely different tour group that I was directed to staff in white stripy shirts and found my tour. This meant we were the last in the queue and I had spent ten minutes worrying we were in the wrong place or would miss the tour. An update to the joining instructions would be welcome.
The boat was very nice and the staff was amazing. Very few people were on the tour that day which was great. Sights were beautiful. It was just lagging when it came to information. We spent a lot of time just looking without actual information being provided.
This was an interesting trip with a knowledgeable guide who pointed out interesting features as we sailed along but interspersed this with facts about Stockholm and Sweden.
Thanks for your review! Glad to hear you enjoyed your time on board with us. Tack!
So beautiful the various islands and the views of the city from various vantage points. Good cultural knowledge and don’t forget to order some herring during the voyage. Matilda was so wonderful. Tack!
Thanks for your review! So glad to hear you enjoyed your tour with Matilda and also the Herring Taster - yum! Tack så mycket!
A great couple of hours cruising in a lovely wooden boat while watching nice houses at seaside and beautiful Swedish archipelago. Tessa was great guide with good energy and a great sense of humor. She gave us good insights! Thank you Tessa!
Thank you for your review! I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed your time on board our wooden boat with Tessa - she is a great guide indeed!
First, The actual boat looked nothing like the photo—— it was a larger boat set up like hop on- hop off bus. By the time we arrived, all the outdoor seats were taken, so we sat in the bar/cafe which is totally inside with windows all around, however, the sound system was inadequate inside—- which might have had something to do with the 5 loud gents playing cards in the corner. In any case, we missed alot of the narration! Despite the yummy drinks, the cruise could be at least 1/2 hour shorter—— repetitive scenery, not really comfy seating.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the experience did not fully meet your expectations. Our boat is a historic vessel dating from the early 1900s, and we’re sorry if the photos or description created different expectations. We also regret that you had difficulty hearing the commentary and appreciate your feedback regarding the seating and route.
