Imjingak es un complejo turístico de unificación y seguridad compuesto por el Pabellón Imjingak, el Centro de Corea del Norte, el Parque de la Unificación y varios monumentos y sitios conmemorativos. Pyeonghwa Nuri Park alberga muchos eventos, actuaciones y exposiciones para promover la paz y la reunificación. Las atracciones más populares dentro del parque son Hill of Music, una gran pendiente cubierta de hierba, y Pinwheel Park, con más de 3.000 molinetes coloridos girando libremente en el viento.

El tercer túnel es el tercero de su tipo construido por Corea del Norte con el propósito de invadir Corea del Sur. Fue descubierto en 1978. Entre los cuatro túneles situados hasta ahora, es el más cercano a Seúl (unos 52 km). Tiene una longitud total de 1,6 km y una anchura de 2 m. Se estima que cerca de 30.000 personas pueden moverse por el túnel cada hora. Los visitantes del 3er Túnel deben reservar el tour con anticipación. El tour comienza desde el Pabellón Imjingak. El Observatorio Dora es el observatorio DMZ más cercano a Panmunjeom. Desde el Observatorio Dora, se puede ver no solo el Panmunjeom, sino también el pueblo de Daeseong-dong dentro de la DMZ, montañas y tierras de cultivo en el lado norcoreano, y la ciudad de Gaeseong, una ciudad norcoreana y la capital histórica de Goryeo (918-1392). We had a thoroughly successful, intensive tour from about 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM. First, we went by minibus to the first stops before joining a larger group in a tour bus for the DMZ. Always accompanied by our guide who spoke English very well. After that, we continued our program relaxed in our small group (there were five of us) in the minibus. The stops were brief and precisely timed, and no time was wasted. Especially the Aegibong Park was an absolute highlight – since we were there in the afternoon, we could fully enjoy the tranquility away from the tourist crowds. The view of North Korea is significantly better here. A huge thank you goes to our guide Won: She was incredibly dedicated and answered all our questions in detail.
We had a great experience visiting Starbucks while enjoying the unique view of North Korea. Our guide, Alex, was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and made the visit both informative and enjoyable. The Starbucks staff were also welcoming, friendly, and accommodating, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a memorable visit and one we would highly recommend.
