This experience was one of a kind and absolutely worth it. Staff was professional and kind. Definitely an experience I will not forget. Thank you to the staff for making this experience amazing for my birthday.
My friend and I visited St. Maarten on a cruise and wanted something unique that wasn't a crowded bus tour. This was exactly what we were looking for. The SeaTrek experience was unlike anything we've done before. Walking underwater while fish swim right past your face is just surreal. The snorkeling afterward gave us even more time in the water, and the entire team was upbeat and helpful throughout the excursion. We've done a lot of Caribbean ports over the years, and this is one excursion we'll definitely remember.
We booked this while staying at a resort on the Dutch side and honestly didn't know what to expect. The SeaTrek part was much cooler than the videos make it look. Once you're underwater, everything feels calm and peaceful. We spotted plenty of fish and even forgot we were wearing the helmet after a few minutes. The staff was professional and kept things moving smoothly. It was a nice mix of adventure without being physically demanding. Would absolutely do it again.
As someone who doesn't scuba dive, I loved this tour. Our family was visiting St. Maarten from a cruise ship, and this gave us the chance to experience the underwater world without needing any diving certification. Even my wife, who was hesitant at first, ended up loving it. The snorkeling portion was fun, but walking on the ocean floor was the real highlight. Seeing colorful fish up close while breathing normally was something I'll never forget. Very well organized and easy from start to finish.
My husband and I were staying at a hotel on the island and decided to book this on a whim. We had done snorkeling before but never SeaTrek. The underwater walk was such a unique experience. Being able to breathe normally while surrounded by fish was pretty amazing. We laughed the whole time because it felt so strange at first. The guides explained everything clearly and kept the group relaxed. We left with some great photos and a story we'll be telling friends back home.
We came to St. Maarten on a cruise and wanted to do something other than the usual beach day. The SeaTrek experience ended up being one of the highlights of our stop. I was a little nervous at first because I had never done anything like it, but it was surprisingly easy. Walking underwater and seeing the fish swim around us felt like being inside an aquarium. The snorkeling afterward was a nice bonus too. The crew was friendly, patient, and made everyone feel comfortable. Definitely a fun memory from our Caribbean cruise.
I do not recommend booking at all. My booking was for 1:30 I arrived beforehand and no one ever showed up to get my sister and I. I reached out to director of tour and never got a response. I’ve been chatting with multiple agents from Viator. I want a refund asap! This was supposed to be highlight of our trip.
This was the highlight of our trip! Bamboo was so friendly and knowledgeable, he made us feel safe and secure. The rest of the crew was great too! The fish were everywhere and the photos were well worth the minimal charge. We were 100% satisfied with this experience and then some!
I felt we wasted a lot of time. The guys were late picking us up and then we had to dock and just sit there for quite a while. I wish it would have been smooth timing , we might have had time for another excursion. It was fun though . I was a little nervous but it was fine. Some of the piping in the walking around needs repair.
The tour guide was late, the music on the boat was blaring and they got us back to our boat late! What you see in the water is a downed helicopter, shopping cart and other garbage. The water is cloudy. The guides who help with the sea trek were friendly and professional, but the whole experience was not as good as expected! Don't book this if you are on a time line, they advertise that it's a 2 hour tour but it was 4 hours long!
