Ubicado en el corazón de la ciudad. Una fuente para beber importada de Escocia en 1883. Aún funciona hasta el día de hoy.
La plaza de la independencia es un sitio histórico y es una visita obligada para todos los visitantes, también probaríamos algo de comida local si está interesado.
La Prisión de Su Majestad en Saint Kitts, construida en 1840 y diseñada originalmente para 82 reclusos, albergaba aproximadamente a 320 reclusos, incluidos detenidos en prisión preventiva confinados con presos condenados. La mayoría de los presos tenían camas, aunque algunos dormían sobre mantas en el suelo.
CALLE. LA IGLESIA ANGLICANA DE GEORGE es la iglesia más grande de Basseterre. Se encuentra en la cabecera de Church Street y su estilo se asemeja a una iglesia parroquial inglesa. Los muros exteriores son de pesada roca andesita y el techo está cubierto de pizarra. Tumba del Capitán Sir Thomas Warner, Middle Island, St. Kitts, Indias Occidentales. Thomas Warner murió el 10 de marzo de 1649 en St. Kitts. Su tumba y la de Samuel Jefferson (tatarabuelo de Thomas Jefferson, el tercer presidente de los Estados Unidos) estaban originalmente situadas dentro de la Iglesia Anglicana de St. Thomas original.

El Parque Nacional Fortaleza Brimstone Hill es uno de los monumentos históricos más importantes del Caribe. Situado en lo alto de una colina empinada con vistas al mar, la fortaleza fue construida por los británicos durante los siglos XVII y XVIII para proteger la isla de los ataques enemigos. Gran parte de la construcción fue llevada a cabo por africanos esclavizados, cuya mano de obra y habilidad ayudó a crear esta enorme fortaleza de piedra. A menudo llamado el “Gibraltar de las Indias Occidentales”, la fortaleza ofrece impresionantes vistas de San Cristóbal y las islas vecinas. Hoy en día, es reconocido como Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO debido a su notable arquitectura militar y significado histórico. Los visitantes pueden explorar antiguos cañones, muros de piedra y edificios históricos mientras aprenden sobre el pasado colonial y el patrimonio cultural de la isla.

aquí veremos el pico más alto de la isla, que era el sitio preferido de los esclavos fugitivos. Yo también soy nuestro volcán y me perfilo como una mujer muy detallista.
Aquí verá la parte industrial de St. Kitts. donde se encuentran todas las plantas de producción de albañilería y donde se realiza la consulta de Bolders grandes.
Aquí verá nuestro único aeropuerto en la isla que también es un aeropuerto internacional.
Aquí conduciremos por las carreteras que llevan el nombre de nuestro propio Kim Collins, quien ganó los 100 metros lisos en el campeonato mundial de 2003, lo que lo convirtió en el hombre más rápido del mundo ese año.
El Banco Central del Caribe Oriental (ECCB) es un banco central supranacional que presta servicios a Anguila, Antigua y Barbuda, Dominica, Granada, Montserrat, Saint Kitts y Nevis, Santa Lucía y San Vicente y las Granadinas, todos miembros de la Organización del Caribe Oriental. (OECO) que utilizan como moneda el dólar del Caribe Oriental emitido por el ECCB.

Aquí tendrá la oportunidad de conocer, acariciar y tomar fotografías con nuestro mono vervet verde de las islas. También tendrá una vista completa de la vista de las islas con vista a la bahía de la fragata desde arriba.

A must do to see all of the best things in St. Kitts. Our tour guide Danny was awesome. The highlight for me was getting to hold a baby monkey. And he took us to a great restaurant called The Monkey Bar. We saw Timothy Hill, Rum Distillery where we got a bottle of local rum. We also had time to get all the souvenirs we wanted. Danny was very knowledgeable about St. Kitts and was always smiling and happy to answer questions (which my husband had many). He had rum punch, beer and ice water when we wanted it. This tour was the best thing we did the whole week.
I had Danny as my driver and tour guide. He was on time and informative about the history of St Kitts. Overall, had an enjoyable day
Guide was excellent and kept us engaged the entire tour. Some tours that I have had in the past were boring and made me sleepy
The brewery was not on the list. We did not visit a brewery. We toured the city area not great. We visited the rum distillery and had to buy something in order to get a sample. Not worth $95
Im sorry that you feel that way,our goal is to make sure all visitors leave satisfied and happy. Im a bit surprised by your remarks because you did ask me about going to the brewery at our final stop and I told you that the itinerary states that the brewery is a pass by and we dont stop there.I also mentioned that the brewery stopped doing tours after the corona virus outbreak in 2020.You even checked it the tour details yourself and acknowledged that is was a pass by.Then you still state that we only toured the city area when we did a full circle tour around the island. I can understand you feeling how you feel, but there is no need to mislead others,it seems very malicious.
Danny is an incredible guide. We were on a 7day cruise and this St.Kitts tour was by far our favorite experience. We didn't book it through the cruiseline but the pick up was easy & right off the pier, and we were back to the ship in plenty of time and thrilled with our day. Danny gives you the locals perspective and history throughout the tour and makes it fun and entertaining. He and Wally are a great duo and take you to the major stops and local spots along the way. The island is beautiful and you learn about the rich culture and events all throughout the tour and gain prizes for your efforts. We had our kids with us and this tour is great for families, and people of all ages. The detail of the information Danny shares shows a deep understanding and pride in his nation. We haven't stopped talking about this tour since we got back home. Do yourself a favor a book this tour. You won't be disappointed and you'll have a far richer experience and better knowledge of the true culture in St. Kitts.
We had an Island tour with Marley. He was very knowledgeable about the Island. He’s also made the tour fun with his humor. It was well worth it!!
Guide was extremely knowledgeable regarding the islands history. They had an entire section reserved for us at the Monkey bar for lunch right on the beach (attached pic)
This tour is highly recommend while visiting St. Kitts. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the island, and was very interactive with us. The mini game on the bus ride, guessing facts about the island was amazing! If you want to know about the island and have a good time. I say book with them! Also they got us back to our cruise ship in a timely manner! 10/10
Highly recommend. Our tour guide Marle was incredible. His immense knowledge of the island and communication was impeccable. He went above and beyond to make our island tour perfect. This tour is a must if you want to see the historical sites and learn about the history of the island from a local with an incredible personality. 5 stars!!!
