SriLanka Shore Excursion por Genuine Srilankans

Our purpose for visiting Sri Lanka was to visit the Buddha temples and to pray. Our tour guide Mr. Kosala was an excellent and professional person. He constantly made efforts to explain Buddhism along the journey, and also diligently taught us how to worship at the local temples. He took great care of us throughout the trip and followed all our requests. I have visited other countries and seen their Buddhist cultural and beliefs, and this time I learned a lot about the Buddhist culture in Sri Lanka. I believe that regardless of the specific school of Buddhism ( Theravada or Mahayana) , the most important thing is that, we all possess a compassionate heart to learn from the Buddha.

This is my second time traveling to Sri Lanka! The first time (April 2016) we chartered a car for 3 days. The original chartered driver had something to do and was unable to come. He transferred us to Chanaka Rathnake. We were very satisfied with Chanaka’s excellent service. The driving was careful and gentle. The restaurant he introduced met our budget and was completely in accordance with our requirements. The itinerary will not take you to any shopping stops such as Sapphire Spice Garden, and your English skills will be good to explain the historical sites and attractions. The second time (February 2024) we chartered a car for 9 days. We still appointed Chanaka Rathnake to serve us. After 8 years, Chanaka’s excellent service remains the same. This time Chanaka asked another person to focus on driving, and to be a tour guide to accompany us and explain the scenic spots. They took a lot of photos for us. The price of the chartered car was reasonable and there was no arbitrary price increase because it was a service for 2 people. The traveling companions all had a great time and praised Chanaka's service.

This was first time for us in Sri Lanka. We chose Genuine Srilankas and we are glad we did. Very professional from planning our trip to the tour itself.Our guide Nirosh was taking care of us very well and I truly recommend him as a guide for family with young kids. Thanks to him, we discovered and experienced new things , which we didn’t know about. Overall very satisfied with Genuine Srilankas and especially I recommend Nirosh as a guide.

My husband and I have enjoyed our tour every minute of it, thanks to the detailed and intense schedule developed with Sharon and to the best ever guide Chin. We do recommend to visit this fantastic country with Chin, an expert driver and a talented guide who has given us moments of great fun and of generous information about the culture and the traditions of his people. What has made our visit special has been his ability to anticipate our needs and to be willing to change plan if we showed any interest in something. So, at the end of the tour we could understand their motto “ come as a guest go as a friend “ Thank you very much!

We did a tour from Colombo to the south beaches, passing through Nuwara Eliya, taking the train to Ella, and finally arriving to the beaches. The tour operators did the complete ride by car and we left everything with them when we took the train. The tour was amazing, they took us wherever we wanted and gave us advice on cool spots and places. The guys were incredibly nice and we even became really good friends. Definitely recommend this experience to anyone!

It was a pleasure touring from Ella to Tissa with our guide. He shared many great insights into the culture and history of the country and took us to nice places along the way. Would definitely recommend!

We have been using the service of this person for one week. Kosala Is both an exceptional driver and a guide. He is very prudent and he is taking good care of you. He is also a discrete person which we particularly appreciated. Indeed, when you want to be by yourself only, he always is not far. You can WhatsApp him and he makes himself available. He has also been very helpful with us particularly to collect our PCR test results (we never got them by email as it was planned) without which you cannot fly back! As a summary, Kosala is an excellent professional, helpful, discrete and a nice person to travel with. We can only recommend him!

Our tours with Koshala added a wonderful , special touch to our honemoon visit to Sri lanka. Koshala was more than just a guide, he was extremely insightful, helpful, a very attentive driver and fun to be with. Our honeymoon was just perfect. And that thanks to our great guide Kosala for these two incredible weeks. He made sure everything was organized even during this time of Covid. He organized all the trips he drives very well and is very attentive to all our expectations he speaks the English language very well he knows all the history of Sri Lanka and all the important places to visit he knows the little corners cute. he taught us everything about the culture of the people and the country, he helped us to negotiate with the traders he was very smiling and very close to us. very open-minded, he's really on top. An incredible quality of service and a very reasonable value for money given the service provided. he takes care of everything we just have to enjoy the country and follow and have fun.
