An incredible experience, loved by us all including a teenager. Chef was so friendly and welcomed us into his kitchen. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Sorrento. The kitchen is within a cave so nice and cool. The food tasted amazing too. This was definitely the highlight of our holiday.

Wonderful cooking lesson. When we arrived it was only the 2 of us booked so we had a private lesson which was perfect. The venue was stunning, Michele was an amazing host and the food we created with him was delicious! Highly recommend!

Michele was gracious, enthusiastic and fun while teaching us how to create one of our best meals in Italy. We were greeted with a special drink and pleasant private table to relax before starting to cook. We learned great tips for the best tiramisu, then made our own amazing noodles and delicious sauce with beef and pork. The location was near the heart of Sorrento and this place is spectacular with candle lights, beautiful decor and uniquely built into the rock hillside. Definitely one of our best experiences in our month in Italy 🇮🇹

A Must-Do Experience in Sorrento! This experience is an absolute must while in Sorrento! Not only is it a fun and engaging way to learn how to make pasta and tiramisu, but the setting itself is stunning — carved into a cave and filled with designer-inspired details that make it both cozy and chic. Michalo, the owner and host, greets you with such enthusiasm and warmth. He shares his nonna’s tomato Bolognese recipe, adding a personal and authentic touch to the evening. Both the pasta and tiramisu were hands down the best I’ve ever had — and that’s saying a lot coming from someone who lives in North Beach, San Francisco!

A group of six of us joined the Spaghetti and Spritz cookery class at Casa Banana and had the best time! Michael welcomed us with an Aperol Spritz and kept the energy high all evening. It was the six of us plus one other couple, which was ideal. It was great value – the price included the cooking tutorials, welcome nibbles, plenty of spritzes, a two-course meal, wine with dinner, and a limoncello to finish. The venue was lovely, with a cave at the back, which was fun for drinks. It was absolutely spotless and really well set up. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. All 6 of us highly recommend! We highly recommend this cooking class. Chef, Michael was a wonderful teacher and host. We learned many new techniques to making pasta and the secret ingredient in making the sauce. It was easily accessible from the square and the time duration of the class was just perfect too!

It was a wonderful experience! Thank you chef, for giving us a warm welcome with a local delicacy to start and spritz that were always filled! The cooking experience was very simple and he was there to guide us every step of the way. After cooking, we sat down as a group, ate and drank wine. He had multiple options and we were so full after the meal! We would definitely come back and do it again!

Had such a fantastic time, we really enjoyed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! Michael was such a positive teacher and we had a good laugh. The food and wine was all delicious and so happy to have learnt how to do something so impressive! Beautiful setting inside too!
