Spa Luxury & Jaguar Luxury de Sensoria

From the moment we were picked up, the day is stunning. Pablo, our guide, is now a member of my family! The Marcella Bakery was a great place for a snack and amazing coffee!! We felt like we were meant to be here. The hike was beautiful. The pools, vegetation, flora, animals, air,....all perfect. I felt so special being greeted with a charcuterie board and champagne and our own robes when we came to the Jaguar pool. The dinner we were served was so special. Get The coffee to finish your dinner!!

You have to do this! Do the Jaguar package. Guys, if you want to propose to your woman, this is the most romantic thing you can do. The hike and waterfalls are gorgeous, but the thermal pools are awesome. Once you get to the Jaguar pool, it’s your own private area. They leave you with a meat and cheese tray and your choice of wine or champagne and you radio to them when you’re ready to back. I could have sat there all day! With the warm water and the beatify waterfall… so amazing. Once you’re done in the jaguar pool, you go back to a wonderful lunch. The facility is beatify and clean. I’d say pack a light rain jacket just in case. It was a bit cooler when we went but the thermal pools are plenty warm to still swim in. The drive might be a little long if you’re staying on the coast but you won’t regret it.

The Experience was great. Hike is very pleasant. A lot of birds. Hot springs was my favorite part.

It was truly one of my most favourite experiences I have ever done. True nature experience The mineral baths were beautiful. Pablo Isaac and Martin were such lovely people and very knowledgable. We learned a lot. A true sanctuary. Would go back again.

I am fortunate to have had this experience inside nature’s wilderness on the grounds of an active volcano. We were welcomed at a luxurious foyer of facilities, storage, changing and shower rooms. Guides Pablo, Isaac and Martin armed with deep ecological knowledge of foliage and wild life in this rain forest. More importantly, the ecological protection at Sensoria. A 1.5 hr (returned) moderate level walk with stick to Buenos Aires Falls which was breathtaking. The immensity and beauty of water overwhelms as we walked gently inside the falls. 3 Large untreated healing pools of minerals were spectacular in beauty and feel, each one with water cascading out of immense rock formations. At the end of our journey, drenched, we’re greeted with warm pool, towels and robes aligned with some snacks and 2 bottles of Moet et Chandon as we soaked in the final warm mineral pool. Followed by a beautiful lunch watching video of Sensoria’s purpose in preservation of wild life gives you that wonderful feeling to share in purpose. The amazing Pablo then returned us to Tamarindo.

We booked the Jaguar Luxury experience and had a great time. Our guides Isaac and Martin were great. At the last pool, we had delicious snacks and a bottle of champagne (definitely worth the cost). They had robes and towels for us to use, and the guides left us to ourselves with a radio to call them when we were ready. One word of caution- you definitely need a high(ish)-clearance vehicle if you’re going to drive yourself. The drive out there was long and very bumpy, and almost entirely unpaved.

Extraordinary experience, highly recommended by having total contact with nature and harmony of all senses.

Excellent Service and beautiful places surrounded by peace and nature, perfect to connect with it. The whole tour was guided and Joaquin provided us with the best care.

This is really an amazing location to visit while in Costa Rica. Although the drive up to it is a little rough, the payoff is worth it. You'll be immersed in a fully self-sustained part of the rainforest near the Rincon de la Vieja volcano. Take your time as you take in the natural beauty, flora, and fauna. The hike culminated in a lovely thermal spring which was a great way to relax at the end of the hike. Our guide Daniel was fully invested in his job, and his passion showed. He customized the tour to our needs and patiently explained all the ins and outs of the area. The site is well designed, with changing facilities and showers for after the hike and swim, and a nice lunch awaits you. Getting into nature is a key experience in Costa Rica, and this will not disappoint.
