Apartheid museum was very interesting and informative! We really enjoyed the tour - Johannesburg City tour, Soweto tour, Mandela house and the African cuisine lunch. Our tour guide - Gilroy was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was enthusiastic in sharing his time, insights and experiences. Thank you!
Many thanks for the review, much appreciated
It was the best way to see Johannesburg. Joseph, the driver/guide picked me up and we drove all over the city while he explained everything. He was a wealth of knowledge and a great driver and I felt safe.
We are very appreciated for the review many thanks for creating jobs for us
The tour guide was very soft spoken and we could not hear or when we could hear we couldn’t understand what he was saying. His English was poor and we felt like he really didn’t want to be a tour guide. I had booked this trip for 6 of us and was embarrassed by the poor quality of the tour and the fact that friends had to pay for the tour. I have always had a great experience with Viator until this time.
Dear Chris hope your are well first we do apologize for what happen my colleague Prosper was your tour guide for that day is a qualify tourist guide for more than 10 years experience we don't know what went wrong we are going to chat with him to find out what happen. We too we have a great experience with Viator is the first time we have this kind of review on this trip I wish if your were still around I suppose to offer you this tour by myself We value our clients when you are in South Africa you create a lot of jobs for us I don't know how I can make you to change the view of this trip but please I really feel bad this kind of review that have a bad impact of this trip We will make sure to do things right next time Many thanks
The tour was average but not what we anticipated as the apartheid museum was closed due to holidays. We were not informed and price was not adjusted. Our driver was kind but little dialogue occurred. We enjoyed Mandela House and prison but those were guided tours by someone else at those sites.
Dear client Many thanks for the review please note the Apartheid Museum was closed due to holidays this is why we replace the Apartheid Museum with alternative one that is the Constitution Hill tour your guide explain to you before the tour and you must know some of the sites there is a tourist sites guide that allows to take tourist around that is not a problem that is part of the tour Many thanks
Gabriel our guide was extremely informative and helpful. He provided a really good insight to Johannesburg area, in particular the different areas within Soweto. The Apartheid Museum and Nelson Mandelas house provide really good information on the history of Apartheid
Very appropriate for the review
Great tour of parts of Johannesburg and Soweto I could never have found on my own. Joseph from Jeff tours was very knowledgeable and informative and knew all the short cuts when we clashed with the G20 preparations. The Apartheid museum is very good and you could probably spend all day there but 2 hours was enough to get some great knowledge of what went on under apartheid.
Very much appreciate Many thanks
Joseph was excellent with a broad knowledge of Johannesburg. He provided insight and history of the city and surroundings. Felt very comfortable throughout the trip.
Many thanks for the review
Jeff was great. Knowledgeable, flexible, tailored the excursion to my preferences. Highly recommend!
Many thanks for the review
The tour was awesome. It took us into parts I wouldn’t have through to go as well as areas I never would have ventured on my own. Joseph was an amazing tour guide and took care of us the entire way. Highly recommended
Many thanks for the review
