El Museo Cultural del Estrecho de Melaka ofrece un viaje perspicaz a los ricos intercambios culturales que dieron forma al Estrecho de Melaka, donde comerciantes, exploradores y colonos de toda Asia y más allá se reunieron durante siglos. Ningún viaje a Melaka está completo sin probar su plato más emblemático: las bolas de arroz de pollo de Hainán. A diferencia del arroz de pollo habitual, aquí el arroz fragante se enrolla a mano en bolas del tamaño de un bocado y se sirve con pollo escalfado tierno, salsa de chile y aderezo de soja. Esta especialidad local es una experiencia imprescindible que realmente representa la cultura gastronómica única de Melaka.
En esta parada, disfrutaremos de una delicia dulce querida por los lugareños: cendol tradicional cubierto con rico jarabe de gula Melaka. Mimi was our food and culture tour guide and she was excellent! Mimi was very engaging and knowledgeable, she kept the kids' attention throughout the whole tour. We had a great time exploring Melaka old town and eating our way through all the local delicacies. She brought us to hidden alleyways and beautiful traditional peranakan houses which we would not have known if we had not join the tour. Love the craft activity that we could bring home as souvenir.
