En Corfu Gastronomy Tours le ofrecemos la oportunidad única de presentarle a los artesanos y comerciantes locales de alimentos, las personas que dominan los secretos de la cocina corfiota. Cada parada de degustación de comida ha sido seleccionada no solo por la calidad de la comida, sino también por la historia que se va a desarrollar, la pasión de su gente y su importancia en la comunidad local. La mejor manera de descubrir nuestra hermosa ciudad de Corfú a través de la comida, la cultura y su gente. ¡¡Déjanos ofrecerte una experiencia sensorial inolvidable !!

Itinerario
Después de conocer a nuestro guía, la primera parada para comer es en un lugar en el centro histórico de la ciudad de Corfú llamado "el santo", donde tendremos un brunch típico griego. El brunch incluye el tradicional pastel de queso griego, el pastel de espinacas, el pastel de crema pastelera, la cerveza de jengibre, el baklava y el famoso yogur griego.
Nuestra segunda parada de comida presentará a nuestros visitantes la fruta kumquat local. Degustaremos el licor de kumquat, las delicias griegas con sabor a kumquat y el "mandolato", un dulce corfiot de turrón.
La única tienda de productos lácteos tradicional que queda en la ciudad de Corfú desde 1950 que tendrá la oportunidad de probar la famosa mantequilla fresca de Corfú que hacen todos los días, un pudín y galaktoboureko (pastel de crema).
En esta parada tendremos la oportunidad de presentar a nuestros visitantes los primeros ingredientes y especias de la comida corfiota y tener una degustación de aceite de oliva, ya que el aceite de oliva fue la principal fuente de ingresos de Corfú durante siglos. El dueño de la tienda nos dará consejos y algunos consejos secretos para cocinar algunas de las famosas comidas griegas.
Nuestro recorrido terminaría en un restaurante donde tendremos un almuerzo / cena sentados. Degustaremos la comida tradicional local de Pastitsada y Sofrito. Nuestros clientes probarán ouzo o vino y podrán relajarse disfrutando de una comida al final del tour.

Electra is an amazing guide. We were on a 7 day cruise and her tour was the highlight of our vacation. The tour included some history and ALOT of great food and recommendations. If you are unsure, just book it, you will not regret it. (Come hungry, there is alot of food and it all tastes great)

This experience you must subdue yourself. It is a really good mix of food and history. For example, how history has put its mark on Corfu and thus also the gastronomy. Our guide, Alice, was really good at conveying the story in a lively way and the delicacies we got along the way fit into the overall experience. We left there with a feeling of having gotten a better insight into Corfu and an understanding of what it really is like to live there. Good and interesting trip!

Really informative excursion, our guide Alice was fantastic, so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and personable. The excursion was more than just a food tour. Our tour with Nausica was absolutely amazing! We sampled a wonderful variety of foods that are unique to Corfu's culture while strolling through the charming streets of Old Town and learning about its rich history. We had a wonderful evening with our guide Elektra on the walking food tour in Corfu town. We learnt about the history of Corfu while we wandered through the beautiful old town. We stopped to sample food along the way, delicious pastries, meats and cheeses, and sweets before having a meal in a taverna. Elektra was so knowledgeable and great fun to be with. I highly recommended this tour.
