Este tour está limitado a un grupo muy pequeño de máximo 7 personas, creando un ambiente relajado y personal que es imposible en excursiones de un día estándar. Dirigido por un guía local cálido y bien informado, el día se siente más como viajar con un amigo que seguir un guion. El tamaño de los grupos pequeños permite flexibilidad, conversación fácil y tiempo para disfrutar de cada lugar correctamente, desde la vida cotidiana en Bayona hasta el encanto costero de Biarritz y Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Es una forma social y tranquila de experimentar el País Vasco Francés desde San Sebastián.

Bayona – Ríos, colores y primeras historias Comenzamos el día en Bayona, donde los ríos se encuentran con calles coloridas y la vida vasca se siente muy viva. A medida que paseamos por el casco antiguo, exploraremos la catedral, cruzaremos puentes y hablaremos sobre cómo la cultura vasca tomó forma en el lado Francés de la frontera. Es una introducción fácil y amigable a la región, y un gran lugar para orientarse (y sacar su cámara).
Biarritz – Vistas al mar y almuerzo privado El siguiente es Biarritz, donde el Atlántico roba el espectáculo. Pasearemos por el paseo marítimo, disfrutaremos de grandes vistas al mar y pasaremos por el animado mercado de Les Halles. Este es tu momento : agarra el almuerzo si algo huele demasiado bien para ignorarlo, siéntate a tomar un largo café junto al mar, o simplemente deambula y observa a los surfistas hacer lo suyo. No hay estrés horario aquí: Biarritz está destinado a disfrutarse a su propio ritmo.
Saint-Jean-de-Luz – Piratas, Reyes y un final dulce Acabamos en Saint-Jean-de-Luz, una ciudad con más historias de las que cabría esperar por su tamaño. Mientras caminamos por sus calles, escucharemos historias de pescadores, corsarios e incluso una boda real que cambió la ciudad para siempre. Y como cada buen día merece un final dulce, nos detenemos en la Maison Adam para probar el famoso macaron vasco, pequeño, sencillo y peligrosamente bueno.

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. This was a small group tour from San Sebastián to three cities in the Basque region of France: San Jean de Luz, Biarritz, and Bayonne. Our guide, Iñigo, was on time, informative, fun, and attentive to our interests and questions. And these are three great cities, and Iñigo knows his way around and all the info about the sights and shops. It helps that he is from the area and is a local and speaks with authority on the Basque region.
My daughter and I had the best day visiting the three Basque towns in France. Luis was amazing - kind, patient and very knowledgeable! He went out of his way to stop at places he thought we’d enjoy. Definitely worth the time and money! Neat my expectations, highly recommend!

What a great way to get a taste of France! Visiting Europe for the first time, we were looking for a way to get the most out of our trip to San Sebastian, so we booked this tour. Our guide, Luis, was the perfect combination of driver, tour guide, and historian. Our group was just us and another couple which allowed a very personal experience with Luis, his knowledge of all the places we visited and the local culture was incredible, we learned so much more than we would have if we had done this on our own. We had ample time at each destination to explore, shop, and have lunch, Luis was very flexible with the time we needed at each stop. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone!

We especially enjoyed our time in Biarritz. Expect some, but not a ton, of free time at each destination. Overall a great tour particularly for those interested in regional cuisine or getting a taste of the French side of the Basque region.
Biarritz does have a way of stealing people's hearts, doesn't it? Great way to get a little taste of 3 French villages with very different personalities. Andoni was knowledgeable as he showed us around and also gave us free time to enjoy each town on our own.
