Su impresionante aventura comienza con una recogida personalizada desde el muelle de Limón y cerca del barco, después de la recogida por nuestro guía turístico certificado, un relajante paseo por el maravilloso campo costarricense en un transporte con aire acondicionado y un vehículo de lujo de modelo reciente lo llevará a sus actividades seleccionadas. Su guía le indicará muchos lugares de interés en el camino hasta su llegada a la primera parada en el Parque Nacional Cahuita, donde comenzará la búsqueda de perezosos. En este parque, muchos perezosos se encuentran en su hábitat natural y libres. Aquí, aprenderás sobre su historia natural, comportamiento y muchos otros hechos interesantes de este encantador animal. Después de Cahuita, continuará el recorrido pero esta vez haciendo un Tour en Barco en el Canal Tortuguero. Durante este agradable viaje, podrás ver más perezosos, ya que les encanta vivir cerca de los ríos. NOTA : Este tour es para ver perezosos en su hábitat natural. El Parque Nacional Cahuita es un parque nacional terrestre y marino del Área de Conservación La Amistad del Caribe de Costa Rica ubicado en la costa sur del Caribe en la provincia de Limón, conectado con la localidad de Cahuita. El Parque Nacional Cahuita es único en Costa Rica por su estrecha relación con la comunidad, un ejemplo de gestión compartida entre la comunidad y el gobierno para un desarrollo sostenible a nivel comunitario. La participación de los guardias del parque y la vida comunitaria se destaca a través de una gestión de gobernanza compartida. Conozca el arrecife de coral mejor conservado de la zona del Caribe costarricense y disfrute del paisaje, la cultura y la cocina que se ofrecen en la zona. Playas de arena blanca, un mar turquesa y una diversa vida marina son algunos de los atractivos que le esperan en el Parque Nacional Cahuita, en la provincia de Limón.
El Canal Tortuguero es un área silvestre protegida en la costa caribeña del norte de Costa Rica. Sus playas son famosas zonas de anidación de tortugas marinas, incluidas las tortugas verdes en peligro de extinción. Los arroyos y lagunas de agua dulce del parque, que se pueden navegar en bote o en canoa, albergan caimanes de anteojos y tortugas de río. La densa selva tropical circundante también es rica en vida silvestre, desde monos hasta muchas especies de aves. Nuestro recorrido incluye un tranquilo viaje en bote por los canales para admirar la rica biodiversidad de la zona.
Puerto Limón, comúnmente conocido como Limón, es la capital y el centro principal de la provincia de Limón, así como del cantón de Limón en Costa Rica. Es la séptima ciudad más grande de Costa Rica, con una población de más de 55,000 habitantes, y es el hogar de la comunidad afrocostarricense. La provincia del Caribe es un paraíso natural, formado por una combinación de selvas densas, montañas imponentes y playas paradisíacas. Limón tiene el mayor porcentaje de tierra protegida en Costa Rica, así como una amplia variedad de flora y fauna. Su vegetación es exuberante como son las culturas en toda la provincia.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
NOTA ESPECIAL SOBRE LA HORA DE RECOGIDA Todos nuestros horarios de recogida se establecen a las 8:00 AM por defecto. SIN EMBARGO : Si su barco llega después de las 8 :00 AM, la Recogida será 30 minutos después de la llegada del barco. Puede reservar su tour y ajustaremos la hora en consecuencia con su llegada al barco. Si el barco llega tarde, nuestro personal le esperará hasta el muelle del barco y le permitirá desembarcar. Operamos todos nuestros tours en consecuencia con la llegada del barco. Punto de encuentro : Entrada principal del muelle. Está a muy poca distancia a pie del crucero. Una vez en la entrada del muelle, verás a un Guía de Tours por la Vía Verde sosteniendo un cartel con tu nombre. Nota Importante : Este tour es exclusivo para pasajeros de cruceros. Si no llega en crucero, no reserve este tour. Tour operar solo cuando tenemos cruceros en el puerto.

Great tour with driver Steven, visited Cahuita National Park, and agriculture walk, and boat tour on the Moin canal in March 2026. Saw many howler monkeys, 2 and 3-toed sloth, Carmen, small snakes and many birds. It was a great trip!

We had a fantastic day on the Sloth Lovers Tour in Limon! Our tour director, Natalie, was incredibly informative — she shared so much about the local wildlife, plants, and culture, and made everything fun and easy to understand. Juan Carlos, our driver, did a great job too — smooth driving and always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of the day and loved seeing the sloths up close in their natural habitat. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Limon!

Ariel the tour guide was great !!!!! as was the bus driver…About 4 people were 15 minutes late and 6 people were 30 minutes late for the tour which was frustrating for those of us that were on time!!! Ariel was very nice(there was a rude passenger)

My fiancé and I booked this private tour through Viator website. This by far, was one of the best eye opening experiences I’ve ever had! It was basically a 3 part tour we were gone for 6-7 hours. Our driver Steve took us where ever we wanted. We had drinks, food, and made memories to last a lifetime! This is one of the best tours you’ll ever book and you will not regret it. Steve was those most excited tour guide ever

The guide Natalie and driver Andy were great. Very knowledgeable and helpful The reason for the 3 rating is our group was full of elderly with walkers and wheelchairs. This held us up every where and slowed the whole group down. Then one entitled woman asked to stop at a pharmacy because of a cold and then did not buy anything. This tour is not for handicapped people at all. Very disappointed in Viator. Below your standards as we have experienced in the past!!
Thank you for your positive review about our staff. Regarding the other passengers in wheelchair I have to tell you that it surprise us as well due the tour is listed as not wheelchair accessible. Even this note the clients ignore it and book the tour. Shared tours can have this type of issues

El dia 24 de octubre no tuvimos ningun pasajero que se haya quedado fuera del tour. Todas las reservas confirmadas se presentaron al lugar y hora establecida. Este dia no tuvimos ninguna reserva para el tour de Sloths Lovers, por lo que su evaluacion no corresponde a nuestra empresa y vamos a pedir a Viator que haga una investigacion y elimine esta mala evaluacion que usted da a nuestra empresa. Si usted hubiera solicitado reembolso, viator ya nos hubiera contactado para procesar el mismo, lo cual no lo ha hecho por una sencilla razon. Usted no tenia una reserva con nosotros. Seria bueno que antes de hacer estas evaluaciones verifique que las haga en la pagina de la empresa correcta
