Itinerario

Best tour guide we’ve had in a long time. I’m kicking myself for not remembering her name, because she was fantastic. She was engaging, her visual aids were spot‑on, and she highlighted all the best parts of the Vatican. I even learned new things about the Sistine Chapel. She kept our group together and moved us smoothly through the crowds, which is no small feat. I thought the tour might feel long, but it was so interesting that the time flew by. A great guide truly makes all the difference, thank you for a wonderful experience!

Guide was good ..but at times rude and mom engaging with certain members of team .we also had a slow moving group due to elderly..and missed a meeting point...but aside from. That...she was treating group like her class ...of school kids...no missed with her knowledge base...but have name proper interaction with people ...would not book with them..again
Dear Prem, We’re sorry to hear that the experience didn’t meet your expectations. Our guides often express concern and provide clear directives so as not to lose individuals, as the Vatican can be quite the labyrinth to navigate given the sheer number of galleries and crowds. We understand that every group has different needs, particularly when there are elderly guests or when unexpected situations such as missing a meeting point occur. However, the earpiece is what our guides use to communicate effectively with guests amongst the crowds, and taking them out during the tour does not help with having a great experience or staying connected with the group. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you appreciated the guide’s knowledge and expertise. However, we’re genuinely sorry that her communication and interactions with the group left you feeling uncomfortable. Wishing you safe travels ahead! Kind regards, What a Life Tours Team

Started off very slow. 1hr of the 3hr tour was gone before we ever saw anything of significance, and it’s not because the lines were long. The tour guide kept stoping for water, backroom breaks etc before we ever got going. Very slow moving through the Vatican museums, guide was very insistent that everyone constantly stay together, even just on the same side of the hallway. Appropriate amount of time spent in the Sistine chapel. Best part was the skip of the line from Sistine into St Peter’s. Disappointed in the narration through st Peters’s. Guide was more focused on the size of the basilica and various architectural elements than explaining the Catholic significance. Would not book again.
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the pace and start of the tour did not meet your expectations. We understand your frustration with the slow beginning and the amount of time spent keeping the group together. While our guides do need to keep the group coordinated inside the Vatican Museums, we recognize that this should not come at the expense of the overall experience. We’re also disappointed to hear that the commentary in St. Peter’s Basilica did not provide the level of religious and historical context you were hoping for. Our goal is to offer not only architectural highlights, but also meaningful insight into the Catholic history and significance of the sites we visit. I am sure that if you asked your guide to speak more about Catholicism, she would be super happy to! We’re glad that the direct access from the Sistine Chapel to St. Peter’s Basilica was a highlight for you. Your comments have been shared with our team as we continue working to improve both the pacing and the quality of our guiding. Thank you again for the honest feedback.
Great excursion and a fantastic guide. It was almost 40 degrees and most places in the Vatican did not have A/C, but the guide kept everyone engaged, informed and entertained.

Jeannette was a fantastic guide! She was very funny and knowledgeable
Dear Traveller, One of the key ingredients of an amazing tour is a great guide, and we're happy to hear that you found Jeannette to be a fantastic one! This allows guests to leave with a deeper understanding and appreciation of its vast collection and historic sites. We're delighted that you enjoyed how insightful the tour was and appreciated Jeannette's guidance. We'll be sure to share your feedback with her! Wishing you many more amazing adventures on your travels, and all the best! Kind regards, Carima
We had a wonderful experience on our Vatican tour with Jad! He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and did a great job explaining the history, art, and significance of everything we were seeing without making it feel overwhelming. Having skip-the-line access made navigating the crowds much easier, and Jad kept the tour organized and enjoyable throughout. His commentary added so much to our visit and helped us appreciate details we definitely would have missed on our own. A great way to experience the Vatican, and we would strongly recommend Jad as a guide!
