Itinerario

Our tour guide Alessia was wonderful. She was knowledgeable, patient, funny and well organized. She took great care of each of us. That made our tour very pleasant.

It was amazing from start to finish. It was easy to find the tour group to check in. If you forget to bring a shawl and have your shoulders exposed, you can buy one from a street vendor last minute. For the tour: FRED was AWESOME!! I wish he could be our tour guide for evening lol he got everyone engaged, extremely knowledgeable AND you can hear him clearly as he projects his voice with the little audio devices. Fred was also funny, which can honestly turn something that might be dry and lackluster into something fun, interesting and actually enjoyable despite being in 100 degree weather. I brought a fan and I HIGHLY suggest as only a few parts have AC inside. I’m not sure about the other tour guides but if you can score Fred, you’re in for a reallllllll treat :)
Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear that everything went smoothly from check-in and that Federico made the tour so engaging, informative, and fun despite the summer heat. His knowledge, energy, and sense of humor certainly make a difference, and we’ll be very happy to share your wonderful comments with him. Thank you for choosing EcoArt, and we hope to welcome you again in Rome!
I was very pleased with our experience with eco art. The skip the line tickets were amazing. We still had to wait in a line but when our ticketed time arrived, it moved very quickly. Did I love exhibits in the Vatican Museum? No. Would not want to go again and felt other museums were far better. Sistine chapel — redeeming factor! and fyi vast majority of museum wasn’t air conditioned. With this heat wave, it wasn’t pleasant. Maybe I would have enjoyed the museum if I wasn’t miserable hot. Just a fair warning — even for those of you from Southern USA!
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear that you were pleased with our service and appreciated the skip-the-line access, especially during such a busy period. Unfortunately, the temperature and air conditioning inside the Vatican Museums are beyond our control, and the summer heat can certainly make such an extensive visit more challenging. We’re happy that the Sistine Chapel was a highlight of your experience. Thank you for choosing EcoArt!
Tour felt rushed. It was crowded and hot-not guides fault. Having been in Vatican tour in past this one did jot live up to expectations. More time could have been spend in museums explaining and talking about what we’re seeing. Guide just pointed out basics as we walked through. Not time to stop and see anything
Thank you for your feedback. Our guided tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours, a duration designed to provide a balanced and informative experience without making the visit excessively long, especially considering the size of the Vatican Museums. Due to the extensive itinerary, the guide focuses on the main highlights rather than stopping for long periods at each artwork. Summer crowds can also affect the pace of the visit and are unfortunately beyond our control. Thank you for choosing EcoArt, and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future!
Our guide Frederick was amazing. The heat inside the Vatican was not. If Frederico was not there to help me get through the tour I would have passed out several times from the heat. Please try and do better in the summer months at the Vatican. Too many tours with no air movement however we got through it because of Frederico. Thank you thank you thank you
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear that Federico took such great care of you and helped make your visit enjoyable despite the challenging summer heat. Unfortunately, the temperature and ventilation inside the Vatican Museums are beyond our control, particularly during the busiest summer months, but we completely understand how difficult these conditions can be. We’ll be very happy to pass your kind words along to Federico. Thank you again for choosing EcoArt, and we hope to welcome you back to Rome in the future!
Guisepee is so knowledgeable and funny made the experience interesting. Make sure you have 2.5 hrs or 3 to spare. Long walks going through the Vatican museums. Not wheelchair friendly.
Thank you so much for your review, dear Denise! We’re delighted to hear that Giuseppe’s knowledge and sense of humor made your Vatican experience both interesting and enjoyable. The Vatican Museums are indeed extensive, and the guided visit lasts approximately 2.5 hours with a considerable amount of walking. Accessible routes with elevators are available inside the Museums, but they follow a different itinerary from the standard guided tour route. Thank you for choosing EcoArt, and we’ll be happy to share your kind words with Giuseppe!

We were there as a family with two daughters who had just become adults for the tour and had a really great guide in Giuseppe! Our group of about 12 people was pleasantly small, and Giuseppe led us through the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel with a lot of knowledge, humor, and many little anecdotes. His English was very easy for us Germans to understand, and the roughly 2.5 hours flew by. Although we already knew quite a bit from history and Latin in high school, we learned an incredible amount of new and interesting things. A very heartfelt thank you to Giuseppe for this beautiful and informative tour! You can tell that he enjoys sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm – and that is exactly what makes the visit something special. For us, the decision to book the Vatican Museums with a guide was absolutely worth it. We can unreservedly recommend the tour and especially Giuseppe as a guide!
