It has been a wonderful day with my son who enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the animals, the waterfalls to the fullest. I wish to thank each of your workers for their excellent service, the girl at the little house was super friendly, the gentleman with the oxen, the transportation guy, the delicious food, the attentive and kind restaurant staff at all times, Lauren was super nice, gentle, and clarified my doubts. Together, they made my day more than great…🫶🏼
Incredible day, well-filled! The peacocks roaming free, entering the toucan cage, the sloth, the very active felines close to the windows, everything was breathtaking! The three-part waterfall is magnificent, the bus that takes us back to enhance the experience is superb and pleasant! The buffet-style dinner is perfect, we all ate well!
This was such an amazing experience, highly recommend all trails and waterfalls. The butterflies were so beautiful up close
The park is beautiful and well taken care of, a good leisure option. Have fun experiences with loose animals in certain environments.
Many flights of stairs going up and down. Animals are in contained habitats, much like a zoo. Trails can be slippery when wet. It was a pleasant experience, good way to spend an afternoon.
Our visit to La Paz exceeded our expectations...there was more wildlife than I thought there would be and the hike along the 5 waterfalls was gorgeous and great exercise - definitely be ready to get some steps in! Well worth a few hours of our afternoon and a great way to kick-off Costa Rica!
We started our trip off with a visit to the waterfalls and animal sanctuary with lunch. Everything about the experience with top notch, facilities or fantastic. Everything is in good repair. The people were amazingly nice and welcoming. Everything about a word experience was first rate.
It really is unmissable, it deserves to go early and dedicate time, even lunch there because it is beautiful. Of the most beautiful excursions of Costa Rica. I expected less and we were surprised. It's much cuter and more developed than the Falls of Fortune. Although it is expensive are several beautiful falls and during the tour has very nice and well developed small spaces for felines, sloths, toucans, butterfly, frog. Etc.
This was a great place to see in native animals up close in a beautiful setting. We loved the historic home and waterfall trail as well. We went to La Paz on our last day before heading to the airport and loved getting closer encounters with animals we had only seen from afar on the trip. The gardens were stunning. My husband and I want to take our kids here next time we visit the country.
The park is beautifully embedded in nature. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Since many complain that the animals are no longer released....one of the ocelots was hit by the car and he has damage to his paw which makes survival in the wild impossible. The jaguar, the remaining ocelote and the two pumas were kept as pets. These simply cannot be reintroduced. The oxen are only there while the park is open. They live on a farm around the corner. Of course, the enclosures could be much larger for some animals. Especially for the cats and the snakes. But everything looked very clean and the animals not neglected as you know it from other countries. The hummingbird garden is also very nice. So many species floating around there. The buffet was really good to our surprise. The falls are nice to look at and it is a nice walk through the cloud forest.
