Hello Linda. Thank you for sharing your feedback. We were a bit surprised to read your review, especially as you had shared positive feedback both directly with our guide and in a message after the tour to me, mentioning that you had a great day, that you've enjoyed your day. Regarding your concerns, I’d like to clarify a few points. At no time were you expected to pay anything for the guide’s meals or snacks. From our understanding, you kindly invited him to join you for lunch, and he even offered to sit separately, respecting your privacy, as many of our clients prefer. Many times, clients prefer to have lunch alone which is, of course, completely fine! At the lunch time, he didn't order any dish choosing instead to share from whatever you were getting. Furthermore, during the stop at Periquita for a snack (for you), you graciously offered to get something for the guide as well, which was very thoughtful, but certainly not required or expected in any way. We believe it’s important to clarify this, as it now feels as though something you voluntarily offered has become a point of complaint. As this was a full-day guided tour, it is (our) standard for the guide to accompany guests throughout the day unless specifically requested otherwise (especially in the landmarks which are part of the itinerary and on the village, it's a guided tour after all - it’s supposed to give you cultural and historical information about the places you are visiting). If you had preferred more privacy during the landmarks or village visit, we could have easily adjusted the itinerary to suit your preferences if you had told him that you would rather prefer being alone. For guests who may prefer exploring independently, an Uber or self-guided option might have aligned better with those expectations. As for not “clicking” with the guide, we’re sorry to hear that. Without specific details, it’s challenging for us to identify where improvements might be needed. However, we greatly value your feedback and would appreciate any suggestions you may have to help us enhance future experiences. Regards Adriana, general manager
