Esta es la mejor manera de descubrir y explorar el Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais, un verdadero paraíso cerca de Lisboa. Durante este recorrido visitarás algunas de las maravillosas playas y montañas de este parque natural, estarás en contacto permanente con la naturaleza y disfrutarás de paisajes únicos. En bicicleta visitaremos el maravilloso pueblo de Sintra, conocido como la "tierra de los cuentos de hadas", donde degustaremos los dulces locales (Queijadas de Sintra y Travesseiros), pasaremos por fantásticos castillos y palacios, que pertenecieron a la familia real portuguesa y a muchos millonarios que hicieron sus vacaciones de lujo. ¡Sintra es definitivamente un lugar mítico! Con el añadido de la maravillosa Costa de Cascais y sus innumerables y encantadoras playas en este recorrido, podemos decir que equivale a “poner la guinda al pastel”. Este recorrido será el punto culminante de su viaje a Lisboa.

Itinerario
Sintra es una villa maravillosa, llena de historia, situada en una de las estribaciones de la Serra de Sintra. Con sus castillos, palacios y callejuelas llenas de color, es un auténtico escenario de cuento de hadas. Aquí hacemos un breve descanso para ver el pueblo, tomar un café y degustar la repostería tradicional.
Este es un lugar misterioso, dentro del jardín hay varios túneles y un pozo donde puedes entrar. Los días que hay muchos visitantes es imposible visitar el interior, pierdes mucho tiempo en la cola, el resto de días te permitimos visitar este lugar.
Además de visitar el pueblo de Sintra, en este tour también visitamos el Parque Natural de Sintra, rodeado de maravillosos árboles, disfrutando de magníficas vistas en un ambiente encantador.
Enormes acantilados junto al Atlántico y algunas playas también forman parte de este Parque Natural, por lo que también subiremos en bicicleta a los acantilados y visitaremos algunas playas, especialmente la maravillosa playa Adraga, donde en los días más cálidos será posible nadar un poco
Este es el punto más occidental de Europa, pasar por este lugar emblemático es otro punto culminante de este recorrido.
Todavía dentro del Parque Natural de Sintra, visitaremos uno de los puntos más altos de esta sierra, el Santuario da Peninha, que tiene una vista absolutamente maravillosa. En los días soleados es posible ver Lisboa, Cascais y toda la extensión del Océano Atlántico.
Esta es una de las playas más famosas de Portugal, conocida por sus olas grandes y poderosas, es ideal para practicar surf y windsurf.
Ubicado entre Serra de Sintra, Praia do Guincho y Vila de Cascais, encontrarás este lugar, donde a veces el mar es tan fuerte que la gente comenzó a llamar a este lugar la boca del infierno.
Esta ciudad se hizo muy famosa durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, cuando muchas familias reales europeas vinieron a vivir aquí. Aquí pedalearemos cerca del mar, un auténtico lago azul, cerca de casas maravillosas y paisajes impresionantes.

This tour was incredible! I didn’t know anything about these 2 cities/villages, but they are gorgeous and the temperature is much cooler than Lisbon on a hot day. Sintra can get crowded with tourists, but with ebikes you can get around quickly and its sooo much better than walking up the many hills! Ebikes are so fun, especially on the offroad parts through the park, getting you to some fabulous views. Thank you Maria for the excellent tour!

This was an amazing way to spend a day, seeing such varied parts of Portugal. We went from the urban bustle of Lisbon to the charming hillsides of Sintra, through the beautiful forest preserve, and down to the beaches of Cascais. It’s an exhilarating and action-packed way to see the region. Also, our guide was awesome!!

Miguel was absolutely amazing. He tailored our e-bike tour to exactly what we wanted. He gave us options like to stay on pavement or off road. He made it so much fun for our teenage boys.

Mary was wonderful. Her explanations were very helpful. We stopped twice for refreshments. First, for a coffee and a snack. Second, for a very nice lunch. The other stops were to take in a number of views and learn more about what we were seeing. Since Sintra and Cascais were the playgrounds of the well to do, biking in "their footsteps" was perfect, especially through the forest. Probably one of the best tours we have taken. It was a very full day!

The tour was very well designed. It started with a warm-up ride along a seaside cycle path, which gave us time to get used to riding the e-bikes before heading into the hills. The e-bikes were powerful and made it easy and enjoyable to explore the hilly areas of Sintra and the surrounding countryside. Along the way, Maria shared interesting bits of history, which made the experience even more enjoyable. **Tip:** The guide is very flexible when it comes to lunch, the places you visit, and the overall duration of the tour. It's a good idea to think in advance about what you would like to see and do. The tour can last more than eight hours, so keep that in mind when planning dinner or any evening activities.

We had such a fun day. Maria was a wonderful guide. She took us to an adorable pastry shop to a treat early in the day. Gave us a choice between grabbing sandwiches to eat along the way or going to a restaurant for lunch. We picnicked in the forest. She spent an extra couple hours with us. No rush, just wanted everyone to have a good time.

Maria ensured we had an incredible adventure from gaining e-bike confidence to teaching us how to take the train to seeing just about every every angle of Sintra from sea level to a 1600 foot elevation gain.
