El maravilloso Palacio de Pena fue construido en uno de los puntos más altos de la montaña de Sintra y ofrece unas vistas impresionantes. Representa el mayor ejemplo del romanticismo del siglo XIX en Portugal, con diferentes influencias de los estilos manuelino y morisco. Podrás pasear por sus exuberantes jardines, que cuentan con más de quinientas especies de árboles de todo el mundo. El famoso compositor Richard Strauss llamó a este magnífico palacio el "Castillo del Santo Grial". Importante: La entrada al Palacio de la Pena está sujeta a disponibilidad, y sólo es posible con fecha y hora previamente reservada.
Como alternativa al Palacio de Pena, puede visitar la extravagante Quinta da Regaleira, construida en el siglo XX. Es muy conocido por sus exuberantes jardines, cuevas y enigmáticas construcciones que evocan símbolos alquímicos de la masonería, los Caballeros Templarios y las órdenes de la Rosa Cruz. También mezcla diferentes estilos, reflejando la arquitectura románica, gótica, renacentista y manuelina. Importante: Es muy recomendable comprar las entradas online.

We had Ruben as our driver for the whole day leaving from Our hotel in Lisbon to Sintra Palace and out to the coast and caiscai . The service is top notch. Beautiful new black Mercedes e220d sedan . Nothing beats this experience for a day leaving Lisbon and seeing Sintra, Cascais, the western most point and the coastline. Absolutely breathtaking! The full-day tour of Sintra, Roca Cape, and Cascais was amazing.
