Itinerario

Had an amazing time walking through the Sinharaja rainforest. We did the half day trip due to time limits, it was a nice and easy walk through the rainforest and we had a lovely guide who had a very good eye for spotting the endemic birds, insects and reptiles of Sinharaja. Walked to the closest waterfall and had a very refreshing swim! You are provided with leech socks and a salt rub applied to shoes. After the walk, enjoyed a lovely buffet lunch in a serene setting. Would definitely come again!
the trek was really nice, we saw many animals thanks to our guide. It wasn't difficult, I had a sore leg and I didn't have many problems. They give you anti-leech socks that make you feel safe
I've been there with an organized group from Italy. The guides showed us the rainforest with patience and easy to understand explanations. The surrounding is majestic and if you bring your costume you can swim under a waterfall Definetly recommended.
Fine guide who took us into the rainforest. Seen a lot of smaller animals. He's a very good spotter with a lot of knowledge. Lovely experience!
Had a great experience with the half-day forest tour. We met directly at the bar at the forest edge as we were staying around there overnight. The tour was great with our guide Sagara who has very good knowledge of species of birds and animals and can spot the smallest animals in the forest. We saw birds, leaf monkeys, scorpions, snakes, lizards and butterflies. We swam in the waterfall which was very refreshing. The forest path is very well maintained which makes the walk comfortable. They gave us leech protection which we used but didn't see any leech as it was dry that day. Restaurant staff was very friendly during the lunch after the tour.
Thanks for your hospitality. Inoka is the expert of rainforest and very thoughtful to take caring me, especially for leeches prevention. Im so enjoy the hiking with you! I will visit Sri Lanka again and find you!
The guide was great und the tour as well. Before I was super scared of the leeches but the salt and the socks worked perfectly. I did not have a single bite. Most of the time we walked on a small path so it was an easy walk. The guide showed us all kinds of animals and the plants were incredible. I can recommend the tour!
Highly recommend!! We were in the area and spontaneously decided to book a Rainforest tour and found this one on Tripadvisor. The communication and pickup was very good and uncomplicated. We enjoyed the hike trough the rainforest, our guide was so so good at spotting wild animals. We got to see so many different kinds of wild animals, like birds, snakes and lizards. At one point we were able to swim in the pond of a big waterfall, which was a very nice experience. Walking through the rainforest and enjoying Sri Lanka’s nature and animals is something you shouldn’t skip when visiting this beautiful country.
We had a wonderful tour in the Sinharaja rainforest with our knowledgable guide Sagata Nadun, who showed us with great enthousiasm a lot of animals, insects and plants in the forest. The host/cook Tiriri was super kind and went out of his way to make sure breakfast and lunch was great for us. We planned this tour from Galle, and a taxi was arranged for us at a reasonable price. Definitely would recommend this tour, great experience, good price!
Perfect day, with a very smart guide. We saw every animal we wanted to see. The guide really did his best to show us stuff. Also the owner of the hotel helped us with all the questions. Good stuff
