We received such good instructions from Luca, the chef. He made it easy to follow directions when making the pasta. We also made sword fish crumpets, eggplant parm, which was delicious, and another kind of baked fish that was similar to sea bass, oh and of course all the red and white wine we could drink. We met 3 other couples from different areas of the world who were very nice and entertaining. I highly recommend this cooking class! You won’t be disappointed.
My better half and I had a wonderful time with chef Maurizio. He was funny, kind, warm, friendly and knowledgeable, taking us through fine points of the food items we were cooking while creating a fantastic meal that included some fine wine. I wish the description shared what traditional Sicilian meals would be created. If we had knew in advance, it probably would have deterred us due to the food menu (sea bass, swordfish rolls, sardines, eggplant parm, and our own macaroni we made which was very soft/ soggy, not aldente at all. The experience itself was great, just not the menu.
