This was a fun, interactive, educational experience for both adults and kids in the family. My only criticism is that the MC's English was really difficult to understand, so we all had a hard time understanding most of it. The English in the video show was perfect. The venue is very close to Ryogoku Edo Noren, Sumo Museum, and Ryogoku Sumo Arena. If you have time, I highly recommend you budget some time to check those places out too.
Great experience, funny and interesting The meal and sumo match were excellent. We were also able to practice and have a fight.

If you're looking for something that's different from the usual sightseeing in Tokyo, put SumoLand on your list! We had such a great time from start to finish. It was the perfect mix of history, culture, and comedy. The hosts did an excellent job explaining the traditions of sumo while keeping everyone laughing with their fun commentary. One of the highlights was watching audience members get invited into the ring to participate. It was hilarious watching people try their hand at sumo, and it made the whole experience feel much more interactive than just sitting and watching a show. We also loved mochi pounding. It was a fun, and a great way to experience another piece of Japanese culture. The meal was delicious, and I really appreciated that they had a vegetarian option for me. It's always nice when everyone in the group can enjoy the same experience without feeling like an afterthought. This ended up being one of those experiences we weren't quite sure what to expect, and it completely exceeded our expectations. If you want an evening full of laughs, great food, fascinating history, and a chance to experience a side of Japan you won't soon forget, don't miss Sumo Land!
