El acuario natural Blue Lagoon debe su nombre a la película protagonizada por la actriz Brooke Shields del mismo nombre, un clásico del cine de los años 80. Sus aguas turquesas, con peces multicolores y una belleza cinematográfica, la convierten en uno de los lugares más visitados y admirados de la bahía de Ilha Grande. La inmensa piscina es un santuario de vida marina con una increíble biodiversidad. Mientras flotas bajo sus jardines de coral, los visitantes pronto se ven rodeados de coloridos bancos de peces que son mimados por las delicias que ofrecen los turistas.
Playa Flechas: En Praia das Flechas, la generosa vegetación que la rodea hace que el verde esmeralda de la Mata Atlántica se refleje en el mar que baña esta playa. Con una larga extensión de arena, Praia das Flechas es perfecta para quienes disfrutan de la paz y la tranquilidad, así como para quienes disfrutan de un poco de emoción, especialmente los fines de semana soleados, cuando el lugar se llena. Sede del primer restaurante de Gipóia, el tradicional Bar do Luiz, sus arenas permiten un fácil paseo después de comer, sin perder de vista la imponente Ilha Grande y el ir y venir de las lanchas rápidas que recorren la bahía. El lugar también cuenta con infraestructura gastronómica y alojamiento.
La Playa de Grumixama es uno de los puntos de parada de Ilha Grande. La Playa de Grumixama es una playa pequeña pero encantadora, de arena clara y con una rica vegetación de Mata Atlántica. Considerado uno de los refugios de la región por su baja concurrencia, es el lugar ideal para relajarse con un delicioso chapuzón en el mar. Tiene una buena extensión de arena, aguas tranquilas y transparentes. Apto para deportes acuáticos como snorkel y buceo, está rodeado de gran cantidad de vegetación. El entorno tranquilo es ideal para los amantes de la naturaleza, ideal para leer o admirar el hermoso atardecer que se puede ver desde la ubicación.
La isla es uno de los tesoros de Angra dos Reis. Su sorprendente belleza natural cuenta con aguas tranquilas y cristalinas de un impresionante azul turquesa. Perfecto para nadar, hacer snorkel y observar la vida marina. Su arena fina y blanca es ideal para relajarse y tomar el sol. La vegetación forestal nativa preservada crea un entorno exuberante y acogedor.

A beautiful destination and fantastic food at the restaurant, I recommend it, my family and I loved it
This is my second time taking a speed boat in Angra to visit some of the more secluded beaches and locations like botinhas, only accessible through a boat. The woman that met us at the pier was sweet and made the onboarding process easy. However the boat was a different story. In comparison to my previous speed boat trip, this entire adventure was rushed, and very little care was given in taking us to locations to enjoy ourselves. Our first stop for 45 minutes was nice. After that, we loaded up on the boat and went to a new location. The water was beautiful and blue, but the guide said it was dirty and said he would take us to a different spot. The spot we arrived at had trash floating everywhere in the water, but I got out of the boat anyways and walked the distance of the beach. Getting back to the boat I noticed the guide was occupied with his phone, so I asked if there was a cleaner beach we could go to, as there was trash floating everywhere here. He simply said “yes”. After that, we parked in Lagoa azul, left , then docked somewhere else for lunch. That was pretty much the entire trip highlight. A major disappointment and certainly not worth the 400 reais I paid prior to the 100 reai tax at the central station.

Worse would have been like, we only went to the first stop. Because, according to Marcel, who was driving the boat, Viva Angra, the wind was very strong. We boarded and went to the next island, on this itinerary some things went very wrong, we moved at a speed higher than recommended for the sea/wind conditions, the people were not properly accommodated in the most behind the boat and, worse, a door was not properly locked, abruptly opening and breaking the fingers of my cousin's hand that was near the aforementioned door. We had to go to Ilha Grande, where we had lunch and returned to the hotel when it was possible. With the Junior-driven vessel following safer protocols, compared to the previous driver, accommodating the passengers backwards and coming at a speed compatible with the conditions of navigation. Except for my cousin who should go to the hospital, while telling these facts I had news that he was even taken to the hospital. We have a video of the panic moments we've been through, I haven't decided if I'm here yet.
