Itinerario
Desde el segundo punto de recogida hasta la tienda hay un viaje de 30 minutos. Aquí podéis ver cómo empezamos a salir de la ciudad atravesando parte de la autovía.
Esta es tu oportunidad de conseguir lo esencial de última hora, ya sea agua, galletas, etc. para caminar.
Desde la tienda hasta nuestra primera parada disponemos de 30 minutos aproximadamente, parada para dar unas explicaciones y fotografías en el mirador "Jilarata". Este lugar nos ofrece una vista panorámica de dos montañas principales de la región: Huayna Potosí y Chacaltaya. Para eso nos quedamos aquí 20 minutos máximo.
Luego de aproximadamente 30 minutos de viaje, continuamos con el segundo punto: El Cementerio Milluni. obtenemos una breve información histórica sobre el motivo y origen del cementerio. Luego, tendremos tiempo para más fotos desde este punto tan cercano de la montaña Huayna Potosí.
Luego de 30 minutos de viaje llegamos al Campamento Base Charquini, donde iniciamos una emocionante caminata por un paraíso para los amantes de la naturaleza, y luego de caminar durante una hora u hora y media llegamos a la laguna Charquini. ¡Te has ganado este descanso! Relájese durante aproximadamente una hora junto a la laguna, tome fotografías dignas de Instagram o simplemente respire aire fresco. Luego caminaremos de regreso al campamento base por aproximadamente 40 minutos descendiendo, y cada paso reflejará la culminación satisfactoria de una aventura bien vivida.
Ya todo listo nuevamente en el campamento base, nos embarcamos para el regreso a La Paz. Luego de una hora y media de viaje llegamos a la parte central de La Paz y nos encargaremos de que regresen sanos y salvos a sus hoteles centrales, mientras nos despedimos de ustedes, hasta que llegue su próxima aventura.

We did the Charquini Lagoon tour and it was absolutely incredible!! Our guide Gio was so kind, encouraging and enthusiastic and spoke brilliant English and Spanish to explain everything in great detail. The trek is ever so slightly challenging due to the altitude but Gio was extremely patient and made sure everyone in the group was seen and safe! The view of the lagoon is just mind blowing, we were unsure if we were going to book this tour originally but are so so glad we did! A great day!
A unique experience, the emerald color of the lagoon is beautiful, the day I went down, snow and thunder fell that gave a different and beautiful magic to the landscape

This was a great full day activity that shows views starting with the drive up to the hike. Our tour guide was friendly and professional, very patient with hikers of all places and knew lots about the history of the area. The hike is not steep but the altitude definitely is tough on travelers but this is very doable!

Punctual, they come to pick you up from the hotel with a bus and Pati is there to welcome you right away. A unique person! In addition to being nice and knowing great English, she tells you what you will do during the day and gives you great tips about La Paz, Bolivia and any information you want to know. The trip is very nice .. there are a couple of stops for spectacular photos and then there is the walk that is just under 2km with very little difference in altitude but really worth it! 5000m is not every day.. Pati leads you calmly, at your own pace, takes all the photos you want and also delivers you a mini lunch consisting of juice sandwich and biscuit Super recommended!
Great tour and Gio was an amazing bilingual guide. The hike was pretty short (about 1:15h with lots of breaks and at a very slow pace) but still a bit exhausting at this altitude. However Gio made sure everyone was feeling ok throughout the way up and the driver also provided some walking sticks.
What an incredible experience. Tough climb for someone like me but our guide was so encouraging and supportive, without her I would not have made it. I would recommend this company to everyone.
