They are not prominently enough advertised, except for whatever RJs pays to have broadcast or rolled to the buyers. Anyway, the lobster rolls are amazing! Seafood or fisherman's platter ((can't remember which they call it) is great! Whole belly, clams, fish, Sea scallops, onion, rings, and coleslaw. That's the standard meal for less than $25! You can dine in or eat out.
Our small group was guided by Tatjana through the history and context of the development and evolution of Florence to frame a much better understanding and appreciation of the rest of our 4-day visit - religion, politics, food, sanitation, economics, -- all aspects of the Renaissance era. Many stories and anecdotes were very entertaining and informative, and she clearly knew more than she had time to tell. As the light rain turned to downpour she had extra, wonderful descriptions of art in a church that we were in. She even talked of the 1966 floods, and how rain in early November put the Florentines on edge. A highlight of our visit!
Our guide was wonderful. Great stories! Thoroughly enjoyed it!! I would definitely recommend this tour as well as our tour guide. Thank you. Grazie.
Very nice tour with great tour guide, Catherine. Interesting stories on the Medici family, Michelangelo, etc. The last stop was a charming restaurant for a glass of wine. Nice!
Our guide, Kate, took us all around Florence. She was very knowledgeable and enlightening. We enjoyed our tour very much!
Hi Adaran, Thanks so much for your lovely feedback. I'll be sure to pass it along to Kate as well, as I know she'll love hearing it! W hope that you will think of ArtViva when you are next in Italy! Thanks again, - G
My sister, my Mom and I had a day with tour booked in one day. We had a great morning with Brenda, we had the walking tour with her. I really liked the way tells stories about the city. After we had the museums with Corrina, she knows a lot!!! Very nice. She brought pictures to explain beter. Im really going to recommend Artviva Tours!! Thank you girls for the great day !!

I took this tour 2 years ago and I still remember it like yesterday. The guide was fantastic, it was tiring but well worth the effort. The highlights for me were seeing the markers of where Da Vinci had his atelier, where Michelangelo grew up, and where Dante Aligheri use to hear mass! - it still exists! Then there were the gossips of Da Vinci's jealousy over Michelangelo and other hi lights about the Medici's.

It was terrible. The description of the tour was grossly inaccurate. Instead of shocking tales about scandalous lives it should have state sexual exploits. The entire tour revolved around the sexual life of Florence. There was very little other than the wine/vino doors information given in the tour that I could share with family and friends.

We were fortuned to have a private tour as there was a little miss up in booking. The staff quickly fix the situation and it all worked out. Very Funny Scandals, you will never look at art quite the same way.

Interesting and scandalous. Very impressed that although I was the only one who booked, the tour went ahead - so I had a personal tour through Florence. Angelo presented the history with knowledge and enthusiasm, making the tour enjoyable. If you want a diversion to the usual historical tours, I recommend this. Not sure I swallowed all the information, but amusing diversion to the more factual tours.
