Excellent overview of Istanbul. Our guide, Ozden, knew the city and its history very well. We saw the major sites and many others off the beaten track. Traveling by tram car was much easier than trying to navigate traffic. Introduced to the local foods and markets. Pickup and return to the airport was a big positive

My first two days in Istanbul were fantastic thanks to my guide Onur. Day one was a tour of the old town, with his inside knowledge we skipped all the queues, and apart from the wonderful sights, I learnt so much about the history of Istanbul. Day two was a cruise on the Bosphorus, followed by a food tour. Onur is passionate and knowledgeable about food and I tasted so many fantastic things.

We had the best experiences with Onur T as our tour guide in Istanbul! We were 2 women traveling and had limited time in the city, so we decided to hire a private guide for 2 days. BEST decision we could have made. Onur meticulously planned out not just the sights we wanted to see, but also the best times of day to see them to minimize crowds and waiting. We never waited in line because he’d gotten our tickets ahead of time so we just walked on in. As we were walking around the Old City and visiting sights, Onur would tell us in detail about what we were seeing. We learned so much about Turkish history, culture, religion and architecture from him…..as a history nerd, this was amazing! Spending our time with him was like hanging out with a guide, a professor and an old friend all rolled into one person. He even mapped out the day we had on our own in detail for us and said we could reach out to him if we needed anything. I can’t say enough good things about Onur and our time spent with him in Istanbul; his knowledge, expertise, and obvious love for his city was a true gift to us.

We had a great experience for 2 days in Istanbul with Turkland Travel. Our contact - Ibrahim was very easy to work with/was extremely responsive, even late at night and early mornings. Our guide - Onus Tuntas was 5*++. We were a group of 4 and it seemed like the perfect size for our guided trip. Right from the pick up at the airport to the final drop-off at the airport and the many sightseeing trips, Onur was always on time/ready to go and full of energy. Really enjoyed his narration of some of the key historical moments in Istanbul. Onur is very knowledgeable about Istanbul and Turkey and takes great pride in explaining/detailing all the facts. We got to know Onur quite well in the 2-3 days we spent with him - lovely person and he is very proud of his family/daughter. His restaurant recommendations were spot-on as well. What I thought took the cake was his caring messages enquiring how we were doing as we moved to Cappadocia and Greece - very, very impressed. We also requested Ibrahim to provide us some guiding service in Cappadocia and Umut in Cappadocia was excellent as well. Definitely recommend him and the travel agency wholeheartedly.

Our guide Onur was the absolute best! He was extremely knowledgeable and his English was perfect! He showed us the best of Istanbul over two days and even helped us plan a 3rd day on our own. We learned so much more about the history, culture, architecture and lifestyle in Istanbul than we ever could have any other way! He was very friendly and interesting to talk to. I felt like I was with a very good old friend the entire time! He showed us the major sites, but also took us to a few off the beaten track places including a private cistern, eating spots on the Asian side of Istanbul that were local favorites, a private yacht cruise and more. When I mentioned that my son was Greek Orthodox he showed me the Greek Orthodox patriarchy which was in a very picturesque neighborhood with colored houses and picturesque umbrella covered courtyards. Our time was wisely spent. He planned around peak crowd times and we were able to easily enter all of the sites without any wait time. There were no surprise additional expenses and he gave us so much more time and experiences than we expected. I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed being guided by Onur, but I will boil it down to you can't go wrong if you work with Onur. I highly recommend him!

Had a great 2 days exploring Istanbul, other than in Sultanahmet. Over to Kariköy for street food and Taksim Square, Galata tower district and Balat and Fener. Our guide, Onur, was first class

Ibrahim was fantastic! He helped me consistently to plan our trip according to our travel style from the beginning. My husband and I wanted to arrange a trip that including a couple of private guided tours, with other time left for us to explore on our own, and this worked out perfectly. Onur, our guide in Istanbul, was terrific! Very knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and fun. We had a great time together. Ibrahim suggested some extras in my itinerary that I planned, such as a private boat ride on the Bosphorus, and I was so glad about that. We arranged private airport/hotel transfers in each city we visited and each time was very smooth with easy to find drivers. Ibrahim was very flexible with some of the last minute changes in our itinerary, always finding a way to accommodate us. Many thanks! I will definitely call on him again for our next trip!

Our guide Onur was excellent. We did 2 tours with him. A food tour and Bosphorus cruise and a tour of the Old City. He was very knowledgeable and able to give a good explanation of significant people and events and he was good company.

We, party of 4, booked our tour with TURKLAND TRAVEL. Arranging agent didn’t rush us , nor pressure us, but rather provided engaged attentive discussion to secure a trip that we really understood and was comfortable with. We had the pleasure of having Onur as our guide through Hagia Sophia , Topkapi Palace, sea travel across the Bosphorus to Kiz Kulesi , then Kadikoy. He was certainly well versed on topics. Very interactive and engaged with us concerning historical topics as well as the local immediate human cultural make up of the country. Onur was a complete delight . The uniqueness and dynamics of the city neighborhoods can continuously pull anyone’s attention so easily, but Onur’s continuous focus and efforts kept us on track and on time to accomplish very efficient travels and tours. Onur also provided additional suggestions for sights of interest and restaurants to visit for our own independent travels. This was invaluable. From airport pick up to hotel and tours TURKLAND TRAVEL kept us at ease and protected us from potential anxieties of foreign travel. We easily , and highly recommend TURKLAND TRAVEL for a completely satisfying tour through this AMAZING city.

Our guide Onur in Istanbul was more than fantastic. He is simply the best guide we have ever had. Full of interesting information. He was warm, friendly and supportive. Our tour with him was a private two day tour for two elderly people. My wife had recent knee surgery, so Onur rearranged our two days with him so that she could physically manage all the places we went to, from the Grand Bazaar to lunch in the food markets, all the classic Istanbul sights, shopping, Bosphorus cruise and more. I fully recommend Onur to everyone who visits Istanbul
