We really enjoyed this activity that you can do at your own pace. The app is easy to use and it is simple to make sure that you are in the right place with the illustrations. It's a great way to get an overview of the comic strips of Brussels.

The tour gave good information about each stop. I found the directions to travel from place to place a little hard to follow but overall thought it was a good value.

I signed up for this tour on a free day during our Brussels visit, and I am very glad I did! My husband wasn’t able to go with me, and as I am an active senior I headed out on my own adventure. I enjoyed it much more than I anticipated… it was part scavenger hunt, part fascinating history (of comics, artists, and the cultural climate of the time), and part art appreciation. Bonus elements included exercise and sightseeing down streets I would not have otherwise explored. I highly recommend this tour, it was great value and a highlight of my stay in Brussels!

The stories about each mural made it a lot more interesting than just seeing the murals. This is especially true for non-EU visitors who may never have heard of any of the comics or the artists. While the map is good, it wasn’t always easy to follow and we somehow missed a couple murals. Be sure to keep the map to be sure you’re going the right way.

I did the self-guided walking tour along the comic route in Brussels with my children and we were all delighted. The track is very easy to do, even with children, and everything was clear and pleasant to run. It was especially nice that my children took the lead. They had great fun finding the next stations and discovering the various comic murals. This made the tour a real little adventure for her.

I had a hard time with this tour as the very first stop, the Smurfs wall, is permanently closed and it was difficult for me to get back on track to find the others so I abandoned the tour although others may have better success than I. The voice on the app was clear and easy to understand.

Fun walk around the city. Would recommend doing this early in your stay in Brussels as you see a lot of the city by foot to avoid re-walking it. We sight saw first and then did this our last day. Interesting facts about the comics. There is also a comic book museum which we did not have time to visit but would pair nicely. A store next to the Tin-Tin mural is a nice stop as well with many items to purchase that are comic themed.

I would definitely recommend this tour if like myself you've visited Brussels regularly and familiar with the traditional tourist spots. Inexpensive and a good way for me to spend a couple of hours taking in murals that I wouldn't have spotted otherwise

I wasn't expecting to enjoy this tour as I was a bit daunted by it because of my poor mobility - but it was great. We did it at our own pace - just the 2 of us- and stopped along the way to have some lunch and carried on with the rest of the tour. We learnt things about Comic Book writers that we knew nothing about and I took some great photos. Highly recommended. Do it at your own pace and within your own time and then go into some of the Bande Dessinees bookshops and check out the writers.
