It’s not worth for the money. I am surprised how small is and not enough to explore.

Loved this aquarium! I booked for opening time which I would highly recommend- was quiet to see all the exhibits. By the time we left it was heaving. Everything was well signed and labelled. We attended the feeding of the turtles and the commentary by Alex was excellent. And she answered some questions I had afterwards. Staff were also good at making sure children were not standing in the view of others (something some entitled parents didn't seem to care about) Bought some gorgeous jewellery in the shop on the way out. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

Went here and have been meaning to review it for some time. This Sealife center is in the most beautiful building. It’s laid out wonderfully and looks amazing. When we went we paid for the boat ride and I felt that was a rip off. If your party is over 4 people you have to pay for 2 rides yet we were cramped on with a family we didn’t know. The bottom of the boat was so scratched that taking photo of the animals was difficult. And the other families child kept kicking his light up trainers off the floor despite being asked to stop by the person in charge. We ended up being on it for less than 10 minutes it really was a complete let down. The rest of the aquarium was beautiful so it wasn’t all bad.

Much smaller than I expected. Plenty to see though.

Overpriced. Dark and dingy. A lot of the tanks were empty. The whole place felt very depressing.Repetitive tanks with the same things in them.

Hadn’t been to this aquarium for years and thought it would be fun. However the experience was rubbish, what used to be a pleasant quieter experience was now a packed hall of screaming kids. Almost all the fish tanks were dirty with filthy glass and rather than light the tanks, they have decided to light the hallway, which means that seeing the fish now is quite difficult compared to how it used to be. They have these huge posters explaining what fish are in the tank, but rather then put this to the side of the tank, they have decided to put them obstructing your view of the actual fish. The exit to leave is anything but clear, we circled three times before asking a member of staff and then realised the exit was next to the toilet without any signage. Tried the VR experience but it was really rubbish, grainy image and uncomfortable pod to sit in.

Beautiful for the architecture and the jellyfish, the shark and the turtle are incredible but we found the aquarium small, hot, and smelly, it seems like some of the animals are not happy either

Myself, wife and daughter had a lovely visit to Brighton Sealife yesterday. As the oldest aquarium it is well worth a visit. The building is stunning, absolotely amazing architecture, the staff are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and the variety of sea life there is amazing. Yes it is smaller than the other Sealife centres but it is the oldest and a listed building. Once inside the accessibility for a wheelchair user is excellent, the disabled toilets included. The only criticism and this is intended to be constructive and perhaps is more the responsibility of the local council rather than Sealife, there could be better signage towards the step free access to enter the site. There are a couple of signs but they are quite hard to spot. The directions at the front of the centre do help though. All in all a brilliant Sealife Centre and well worth visiting.
