Sculpture in Florence: Traditional Clay modelling class

With my friends we attended the Art Experience prooosta at GekoArtStudio of Octavio and Rosanna in Florence, and it was just wonderful. The studio is cozy and full of inspiration, and the two of them were immediately very kind, nice and very professional. We learned a lot, had fun and felt really free to express our creativity, even without having previous experience. An authentic experience, attention to detail and conducted with great passion. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience something unique in Florence!

Octavio is a perfect teacher He is patient, explains well, leads your eye to important lines Everybody who visits Florence should go to those lessons with Octavio. I can only recommend them. During a little rest Octavio and his wife offered refreshments and biscuits. They both gave me a very warm welcome in the Gelo Art Studio. Just go and have this wonderful experience too!

Great workshop! Octavio is a patient teacher, having taught us the basic skills of clay modelling. I found it fascinating to learn the structured and well explained approach leading to wonderfull result in three hours. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience! Favorite thing we did in Florence. The whole family had so much fun trying to make the eye of David through clay modeling…. Great teacher and the whole family has much more appreciation for the art of sculpting! If you do anything in Florence - book this experience!

This clay modelling session was a great experience! The teacher was very experienced, patient, and always supportive. For a “first timer”, this was important. He’s also a new dad, so I got to meet his beautiful baby! I highly recommend this experience for anyone who loves art and wants to learn some traditional techniques.

Amazing class with Octavio. He was very good at explaining the sculpting technique and I really enjoyed my time at the studio. They had some snacks during our mid-class break which was pleasantly unexpected. Such a unique experience for such a unique city. I highly recommend it!
