Esta visita guiada es realmente la mejor experiencia de Pikes Peak con el horario más relajado disponible. Nuestros guías turísticos son muy amables, seguros y conocedores, con una explicación completa de hechos interesantes e historias durante todo el recorrido de 4 horas. Nuestras furgonetas de pasajeros son espaciosas y cómodas. Se hacen múltiples paradas a lo largo de la autopista Pikes Peak en varias vistas panorámicas y estructuras en el camino a la cumbre a 14.115 pies de altura. Ofrecemos muchas oportunidades para salir del vehículo y estirar las piernas. Se pueden solicitar paradas adicionales para tomar fotos, observar la vida silvestre y hacer pausas adicionales para ir al baño. El agua embotellada se proporciona sin costo alguno.

Durante nuestro recorrido por Pikes Peak, haremos varias paradas en puntos de interés en nuestro camino hacia la cima del pico y la nueva Summit House de última generación a 14,115 pies de altura. ¡Cuidado con el pie grande!
En este punto del recorrido se ha colocado un cartel "por tu seguridad" ya que cerca de la zona se han producido algunos de los fichajes más creíbles de Bigfoot. Nuestro recorrido casi siempre garantiza un avistamiento y por supuesto, ¡una foto con él!
El embalse de Crystal Creek presenta la primera vista completa de toda la montaña Pikes Peak contra el cuerpo de agua. El recorrido conduce directamente sobre la presa de este embalse, que también ofrece una tienda de regalos, baños y placas informativas para leer sobre la vida silvestre y la historia locales.
El histórico Glen Cove Inn es un antiguo edificio de albergue de esquí que se encuentra justo debajo de la línea de madera a lo largo de la autopista Pikes Peak. En Glen Cove, puede esperar ver la primera vista sorprendente de la cima calva de la montaña, resaltada por la nieve, la mayor parte del año. También en Glen Cove se encuentran la estación Brake Check, una tienda de regalos y baños.
Una vez que el recorrido llega a la cima de Switchbacks, vemos la formación rocosa y el área conocida como Devil's Playground. ¡No queremos estropearte la sorpresa contándote cómo obtuvo el nombre!
¡The Bottomless Pit es como cabría esperar! Justo debajo de la cumbre de Pikes Peak, la carretera se acerca a un acantilado empinado que se puede ver desde el borde de la carretera y mirar hacia abajo y hacia afuera a través de una escena expansiva. ¡Esta ubicación es una de las favoritas para las fotos familiares!
Summit House, en la cima de Pikes Peak, es un magnífico centro de visitantes de última generación. En Summit House, puede probar las famosas donas de gran altitud, aprender sobre la historia de Peak con la exhibición, obtener sus golosinas en la tienda de regalos y experimentar las vistas de la clase trabajadora a través de las ventanas gigantes que miran hacia el este. Fuera de Summit House, puede caminar alrededor de Peak y experimentar vistas de 360 grados que se extienden hasta Kansas y Nuevo México. My experience was exceptional. Nick was an exceptional tour guide. He possessed extensive knowledge of the picturesque mountains and the various events that transpire throughout the year on Pike Peak. The altitude had an impact on me, and he was attentive to my well-being by staying close to me. I highly recommend purchasing the oxygen can from the office where you board the van, as it is significantly more affordable than purchasing it at the summit. Overall, this was an outstanding excursion.
Loring was the best tour guide. He had a lot of information abt the area and we really enjoyed our time with him. Worth every penny we paid.
It was SO nice to NOT have to drive this myself. The tour allows you to simply absorb the beautiful views. Nick was our guide and he was great. He was knowledgeable and helpful. We were exhausted (thx altitude) and so relaxed on the way back down... so again - quite happy someone else was driving. We stopped several times and had plenty of time at the top to get pictures, a snack, and get some shopping done. He also slowed down/stopped so we could get pictures of wildlife. Thx Nick!

I was persuaded to do this trip with my friend. I have an insane fear of heights and really didn't want to do it. This company put me at ease from the very beginning. The young lady in the office was so lovely and helpful (we got lost going to their office) and our driver Nick was exceptional. I would like to say I enjoyed the drive, their coaches are comfortable, clean and roomy, but I can't. What i can say is that Nick's careful driving at least made the journey less anxious for me. His great narrative took my mind off the height and allowed me to reach the summit and appreciate the incredible views from the top. I could never have done this in a car. Thank you Nick and the team. Who knows you may see me again some day.
BEAUTIFUL. What a great decision we made booking this tour! Here on vacation we knew Pikes Peak was a must, but scared to make the drive as we were not familiar with anything. This was the BEST way to not only see everything comfortably but learn alot. Our guide John was perfectly patience with our group, which we can sometimes be alot. He took our pictures at every stop and even pulled off so we could see some long horned sheep up close, without getting out of the van of course. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful time on the Scenic Tours of Pikes Peak. Our tour guide, Nick, was extremely informative, knew the area inside and out, and shared fascinating stories about the annual Pikes Peak car race, the local wildlife, and even the legends of Bigfoot. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
Rocky Mountain Ride is a great business, and their tour of Pikes Peak was phenomenal. Nick was friendly and helpful, and our guide John was terrific. We learned so much from John about the mountain, flora, fauna, and we were able to really enjoy the ride. The van was so comfortable and there were frequent stops at beautiful scenic views. This company is so personable, and so professional, and the guided trip was the best ever!
