Hay una razón por la que los túneles de manglares de Lido Key son una experiencia obligada cuando se visita la costa del Golfo. Lanzamos desde el Parque Natural Ted Sperling (190 Taft Dr Sarasota FL) que tiene baños limpios, una ducha de enjuague y mesas de picnic con sombra. Nuestros increíbles guías locales de Sea Life Kayak Adventures lo llevarán en un recorrido por Little Sarasota Bay, donde podrá ver manatíes, delfines, una variedad de aves y vida marina... luego terminará en los famosos túneles de manglares, un hermoso dosel que serpentea a través de una isla. El recorrido generalmente dura alrededor de 2 horas, pero no tenemos un horario estricto, así que espere media hora adicional. This was a truly wonderful experience. The tunnels were beautiful and our discovery of manatees fulfilled my dream. My guide, Joan, imparted exceptional information on everything from plant and animal biology, history, ecology and geology to the Fibonacci series throughout the entire trip. He was accommodating and extraordinarily knowledgeable. The tour was the highlight of my trip and I could not recommend them more highly.

Joann was an excellent guide. His knowledge of the ecology of the mangroves and bay as well as Sarasota was very interesting and informative. His humor also made it entertaining.

Very cool kayaking adventure through the mangroves and along the bay. Saw fish, seagulls, little crabs, and all sorts of Florida fauna. Interesting to hear the history of the area and experience the mangrove tunnels.
