Shiunn was a friendly and engaging guide and showed us a local’s guide to Sapporo. Exactly what we wanted. Highly recommended!

Shiunn provided great company and lots of insights for exploring Sapporo! She took me all around the city, introduced me to some local bites, and taught me a lot about the history oh Hokkaido.

We had a wonderful private 3-hour tour of Sapporo with our guide Shiunn!!! She brought the city’s history to life by starting our tour at the fascinating Hokkaido Government Office Building where we learned about Hokkaido’s history and Ainu culture and understood why the island was influenced more by Western and native cultures than the rest of Japan. Shiunn then took us around to interesting city locales like the local fish market, an office building with a 360-degree view of the city’s layout, Odori park, and the Sapporo Clock Tower. Our tour ended with Sake tasting (or Sake ice cream if you’re like me and don’t drink Sake). Every location taught us something about Sapporo’s past in a way that was both interesting and enjoyable. This tour is perfect for anyone who wants to make the most of their time without having to research or plan an itinerary - our guide took care of everything, allowing us to simply relax, explore, and enjoy the experience!!!

We loved our walking tour with Toru. He was friendly, helpful and attentive. He answered all our questions and made sure the tour was exactly what we were looking for. We all left knowing a lot more about Sapporo and Japan.

Our guide was a kind person so I hate to write this review, but it is what it is. He was just a random guy. I feel like he lives in the area and thought, sure, I’ll be a guide to make some money.” He had no plan. He had no books or printed information. He took us to the Sapporo brewery but the museum was closed (he said he didn’t know it was closed - he obviously didn’t check). He didn’t seem overly knowledgeable in the area or Japanese culture, or at least he was not eager to share knowledge if he had it. His English was passable, but barely so. I could have read a few Wikipedia articles and learned more than he shared in the FIVE hours we spent with him, even with my prompting. I wouldn’t recommend this guide or service. They’re just a broker who connects you to a random person who signed up to be a “guide”. It was an incredibly poor use of money. I am disappointed.

Good tour of downtown Sapporo. Leo was knowledgeable and customized the tour for our preferences. Good value for the price.

Had a wonder time with Shiunn, she showed me everything from the history of Sapporo to the hidden gems. She showed me great food, beautiful gardens and unforgettable places. Not only that but she also gave me some great advice on how to navigate and how I should be dining. Shes very knowledgeable, very kind and even let me take my time to really take in certain spots. I highly recommend her to everyone! Thank you Shiunn!

Emilio was a wonderful guide! He customized our tour to fit our personalities and age. Being older we skipped some of the traditional sites and saw more intimate locations and got more of a better sense of life in Sapporo. Walking through the forests and eating the buckwheat treats was so special. Many thanks to Emilio!

We had a wonderful tailored walking tour with Shiunn who has an obvious passion for Sapporo and was quick to pick up on our interests. We had a lovely spontaneous tea ceremony at a tea shop which she proposed when she heard it was my husbands birthday and that he loved tea. A fabulous way to see the city when first arriving.

Emi, our tour guide and life-long Sapporo resident, was spectacular in her preparation for our half-day walking tour of Sapporo. You could sense the pride and passion Emi has for her city. She allowed us to experience hanami.......I will not be able to thank her enough for providing us this very special opportunity. Tornado potatoes will mean WAY more to her and us after our time together happened to coincide with actual tornado warnings back home!
