Pase por el parque Odori, situado en el distrito central de Sapporo Odori Park es un oasis en un distrito de oficinas rodeado de 92 especies de lilas, olmos haru y otros 4.700 árboles. Tanto los visitantes como los residentes disfrutan de relajarse en el césped y alrededor de la fuente. El Parque Odori es en realidad una carretera, aunque se llama parque. 1871 (Meiji 4), se construyó una línea de cortafuegos que divide el centro de Sapporo de norte a sur, que se convirtió en una carretera llamada Goshidori, y el nombre se cambió a Odori. Normalmente es un lugar de relajación y recreación, también es el lugar de algunos de los eventos más famosos de Hokkaido. El Parque Odori se extiende de este a oeste y se divide en 12 bloques de 1 a 12 chome, cada bloque separado por un paso peatonal. La distancia de un extremo a otro del Parque Odori es de aproximadamente 1,5 km, y se tarda unos 30 minutos a pie.

We visited on the perfect day😍, three izikayas with different vibes, we would have never found the spots on our own. So this opened up a new range of places to look for. Midori is a kind and open person, she really took care of us and made us feel at home.

It was a fantastic night. The food and drink selection was impressive offering hidden gems for non-locals. Our host Aika was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable guiding us to quirky and interesting venues away from the main street. Our small group of four made for a wonderful dinner party atmosphere.
