Paseo por Altos de Chavón, una recreación de un pueblo mediterráneo del siglo XVI situado sobre el río Chavón y utilizado frecuentemente como set de rodaje. Viaje a la isla de Saona a bordo de un catamarán para relajarse en la playa de arena blanca bordeada de palmeras de coco. Disfrute de un almuerzo de barbacoa de comida típica dominicana y un bar abierto. Disponibilidad: miércoles y sábado solamente Altos de Chavón : Explora el pueblo mediterráneo del siglo XVI recreado. Bayahibe es el puerto donde te llevamos para tomar las lanchas rápidas o el catamarán dependiendo del horario diario, pero definitivamente harás ambos el mismo día.
Esto es lo que llamamos La Piscina Natural, entre la Isla Saona y República Dominicana, este es un lugar donde harás una parada para tomar bebidas, tomar fotos y disfrutar del increíble lugar a pocos kilómetros de la costa con un agua clara de aproximadamente 3 pies. profundo, adultos y niños pueden disfrutar de esto

Tour guy was very helpful and informative. Just wished we would’ve stayed at the Saona beach longer.
The driver for Caribbean Route pulled away as I arrived at the pick up location on time and then he wouldn’t answer the phone.
The tour guide was amazing. Kind, respectful, he gave us a lot of informations about the Dominican Republic and everything was overall good. The problem was that they had forgotten to pick us up from our hotel in the morning, so we had to way until 7:30 to get a pick up, after 10 call to the agency. (The appointment was at 6:30). Also the agency is not very communicative because the day before the trip we tried to call them at different times to know the exact hour off the pick up and we had to involve get your guide to receive an answer (they answered them after 6 pm, from the morning that we started calling and sending email). That’s weird because they confirmed the pick up for the day after and then they forgot. So, the agency is a 1/10, the tour itself is a 10/10.
The island was beautiful and the trip was definitely worth it. However, I would have to choose a different company next time. We were picked up 30 minutes late and had no communication with the operator. They gave us a WhatsApp number that was out of service for phone, and not responding to texts. However, conveniently after we were picked up they started replying to our messages. We could have gotten back to the hotel earlier if they were on time. However, the drivers and tour guides were all amazing people, my complaints are only about the company’s organization and lack of communication.
Great communication, gave us pick up time evening before and arrived on the dot. Yes it was a lo g day 12 hours door to door but was so well organised. The island was stunning. We had full 3 hours on island. Food was lovely. Only downside was when on sunbeds they kept asking if you wanted a massage. Must have been asked easily 20 times, I know they have a livelihood but did dampen the day a bit. Tour guide was superb. Definitely recommend.

Horrible experience! This company was not clear with instructions and did not try to communicate with us when we reached out serval times for pickup information a few days prior. They never picked us up from our resort and never responded to us. They scammed us by telling sending our pickup information at 11:30pm the day before….. keep in mind that we had to be ready at 7:00am……that they were going to pick us up from our resort and when we called they said that they had already stopped for us at the bus stop OUTSIDE of our resort. (We were not told this) we waited in the lobby of the resort where every other tour comes. DO NOT purchase with this company, just book it with your resort excursion desk! It is easier, safer and even cheaper at your resort.
If I could give zero star I would, nobody put an effort to text or call or pick us up we waited 3 hours and ended up cancelling and called trip advisor for my money back
The trip was both fun and relaxing. We had ample time on the island. Wish I would’ve had more time in the natural pool.
Was a long day getting there and back there and back made it feel this way as swapping bus to coach etc and waiting around . But once on the speed boat your day starts exhilarating experience and then a stop at the swim part in the beautiful blue sea where we had a hour drinking rum and floating around in the beautiful waters then back on the boat to the island which is really pretty full of coral along sea edge ( wear shoes it is a must as will cut your feet as we experienced ). We had coconut s and pineapples as our drinks and the food was good too We then made our way back on a catamaran which was fun. Music and drinks Unfortunately one young person had too much and everyone had to make sure she did not fill over board We then had to endure the coach trip back with her which was quite disgusting at times But despite this would definitely recommend doing just for the experience. I don’t think it’s great for kids though climbing on and off of boats etc
