Very late pickup. Needed to contact twice. The tour was supposed to be in English- not a word of it. Too many lengthy souvenirs stops. Van was in poor shape. Would not recommend to anybody!
My group tour guide was Victor, and he was great! He was very knowledgeable about the area and patient with me, considering I was the only one in the group that required English translation. The pick-up from the resort did seem a bit skeptical since the van was a little dirty, and the windows were super tinted. Plus, I was the first one in the van, and it took a while to gather the other passengers. Other than that, the trip was great!
Our excursion to Santo Domingo was fantastic, we enjoyed it a lot. the museums and the colonial zone a real beauty
This very good tours, they picked us up on time at our hotel, from there we went to Santo Domingo, the beautiful cathedral, the historic streets, the colonial zone I liked a lot. the 3 eyes majestic place ! It is really worth doing this tour
the best tours to know a little of the history of this beautiful country, the attentions were first class. the museums leave a lot of teaching about what lived in this country, the impressive monuments.. it is worth paying for this tour
absolutely not to do. Santo Domingo itself is too far from Punta Cana. You spend a lot of hours traveling in a crumbling bus. Late pick up because our driver had not been properly notified of the name of the hotel. more than an hour to leave because they rounded us up with other tourists who had booked other tours and reformed the groups. Apart from that 'we had booked specifically with the guide in Italian and already' immediately we were told that the guide knew little, to make do that so much Spanish and' similar... well... stages: Los Tres Ojos, commemorative monument of the Pan American games, Santo domingo center. Every stop we made 10 min of explanation and 30 min of souvenir shops where the guide (in agreement with the owners) downloaded us to induce us to buy items whose value and 'doubtful and where the prices in $ are never displayed (classic scam for tourists chickens).... we did not buy even a pin. In the description it says snacks and drinks: zero, they gave us nothing. The only positive thing is the Dominican lunch in a nice restaurant in the center of Santo Domingo. At the end of this endless tour of souvenir shops the guide told us that as a "gift" we would pass by the most beautiful and unknown beach in the Dominican Republic: Boca Cica.... we said well, come on.... at least this.... and instead?!?! resounding flop: the beach was a concrete pour that ended in the water... but 'the guide lived there and we practically drove him home.... a scandal!!!!! we had to be at the hotel at 5.30 pm and we arrived at 9.00 pm destroyed losing dinner and evening.... shameful!!!
