It was an okay tour, but it had a lot of missed potential. The crowds were massive, so we spent a large portion of our time just waiting in lines. To make matters worse, the tour guide skipped several areas, claiming the driver had somewhere else to be. The long lines and the driver being in a rush really ruined the experience.
We're genuinely sorry to hear the day fell short of what you were hoping for — that's simply not the experience we want anyone to walk away with. Long waits and a rushed pace can absolutely take the joy out of a tour, and we understand your frustration completely. We take feedback like this seriously, as it's the only way we grow.
Vanessa was an amazing tour guide — we learned so much about the city and its history! Would definitely recommend.
Vanessa will be absolutely delighted to read this! She pours real passion into every Santiago City Tour, and there's nothing she loves more than helping visitors connect with the stories behind our streets and neighborhoods. Discovering a city through its history and culture is exactly what we hope to offer on our private tours in Santiago, so knowing you left with a fuller picture of our capital means a lot to us. Should you ever return to Chile, we'd love to show you more — perhaps a day trip to Valparaíso or the mountains of Cajón del Maipo. Warm greetings from all of us at Chile Travel Adventures, and thank you for recommending us to fellow travelers!

Long waits and a rushed pace can absolutely take the joy out of a tour, and we understand your frustration completely. We take feedback like this seriously, as it's the only way we grow. That said, after carefully reviewing our records, we haven't been able to match your review with any reservation on our end, which makes it difficult to look into exactly what happened. We'd truly welcome the chance to understand your case better and put things right, so please feel free to reach out to us directly. We appreciate you taking the time to share this — it matters to us.
This guided tour exceeded my expectations. The guide was amazing and the info of the area, plus the normal conversations were wonderful.
Reading that we exceeded your expectations is honestly the best compliment we could ask for. Our guides genuinely love what they do, and those easy, unscripted conversations along the way are often what turn a simple Santiago City Tour into something more personal and real. Sharing our city's stories with curious travelers like you is a privilege we never take for granted. If a future Chile vacation brings you back our way, we'd be delighted to design more personalized tours in Chile for you — from the vineyards near Santiago to the colorful streets of Valparaíso. Warm regards from the whole Chile Travel Adventures team, and thanks for spending part of your trip with us!
We were able to get a great introduction to Santiago, its history and culture. Our guide spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable. Having the driver was essential for my limited mobility.
How wonderful that you came away with a real feel for Santiago's history and culture! Accessibility matters deeply to us, so we're especially glad that having a dedicated driver made the day comfortable and easy for you — that's exactly why our private tours in Santiago pair a knowledgeable local guide with a chauffeur. Clear communication makes all the difference too, so it's great to hear the English and local insight hit the mark. Thoughtful, personalized service is at the heart of everything we do at Chile Travel Adventures. If you ever plan another Chile vacation, we'd love to help you explore further afield, from the coast to the Andes. Sending our warmest greetings and heartfelt thanks for choosing us!
Melissa was my guide and she was amazing! She provided sime great information about the city and sights. Her English is beyond good! The driving part is only to get to point A to point B. Great walking, over 10K steps, through beautiful green spaces as well as more gritty streets.
We had to smile at the "10K steps" — you really did see Santiago the way it's meant to be seen, on foot and up close! Melissa has a gift for weaving together the polished parks and the grittier, more authentic corners of the city, and knowing her local knowledge (and her English!) made an impression means a great deal. That balance of comfort and genuine, boots-on-the-ground exploration is what our Santiago City Tour is all about. Melissa will be delighted to read this. Should you return for another Chile adventure, there's so much more to discover — the vineyards nearby or the mountains of Cajón del Maipo come to mind. Thanks a million for the lovely words and for exploring our city with us!
We had a wonderful tour with Berson. This tour provides a driver and a guide. Our driver brought us safely through the city, and Berson brought us to locations we would have never have found on our own such as the home of Rudulfo Anaya. Berson was funny and incredibly knowledgable. It was a wonderful day- and the perfect amount of time for our last day in Chile.
What a special way to spend your final day in Chile — we're touched you chose to share it with Berson! He has a real talent for uncovering those hidden gems most visitors would simply walk past, and pairing genuine local knowledge with a good sense of humor is exactly what makes a private tour in Santiago feel personal rather than routine. Having a dedicated driver to navigate the city safely lets you relax and soak it all in, which is just how it should be. Berson will be thrilled by your kind words. We hope Chile left a lasting impression, and if the road ever brings you back, the whole Chile Travel Adventures team would love to welcome you again. Safe travels!
Andres was our guide and Luis our driver.Outstanding tour, excellent service from start to finish. We saw all of the highlights of Santiago with fascinating insights into the key areas and history of the city. We went at our pace and thoroughly enjoyed our time!
Outstanding from start to finish — now that's the kind of day we dream of giving every traveler! Andres and Luis make a wonderful team, and we're so pleased they guided you through Santiago's highlights while letting you set the pace. That flexibility is the whole point of our private tours in Santiago: no rushing, no rigid script, just the city unfolding on your terms with fascinating local insight along the way. Both of them will be proud to read this. Whenever your next Chile vacation takes shape, we'd be delighted to help you go deeper — a wine tour near Santiago or a coastal escape to Valparaíso, perhaps. Sincere thanks for the kind words and for touring with Chile Travel Adventures!
A very complete, educative and entertaining tour. Ale was a great, pretty well informed guide. Highly recommended
Short and sweet, and much appreciated! Tailoring each Santiago City Tour to what our guests actually want to see is something we care about deeply, so it's great to know the experience felt made-for-you. And punctuality matters — a timely pickup and drop-off sets the right tone for a relaxed day. Little things like these are what personalized tours in Chile should always get right. If you're ever back for another Chile adventure, we'd love to welcome you and show you even more of what our country has to offer. Warm thanks from all of us at Chile Travel Adventures for taking the time to leave this review!
Knowledgeable guide who geared the experience, sites and information to our needs. Timely pick-up and drop-off
Complete, educational and entertaining — that's just the blend we aim for! Ale will be delighted to hear she struck the right note; she has a real knack for sharing Santiago's stories in a way that informs and keeps things lively. A great local guide can turn a simple city tour into one of the highlights of a trip, and we're glad that was your experience. Should a future Chile vacation bring you back our way, we'd happily craft something special for you — whether that's a wine tour near Santiago or a day exploring Valparaíso and Viña del Mar. Thanks so much for the recommendation and for discovering Santiago with Chile Travel Adventures!
